I was in the room with Mike as NEVER suspected Mike would say something like this.... He said "Matty sit here please as be patted the seat bed next to where he was sitting. I sat down unaware of what was going on. He turned to face me and held my hands and stared deeply into my eyes. I looked him in the eyes too. I looked at the clock on the nightstand saying 12:30 I was hoping what ever Mike was saying would be fast since I had a date with Jeremy. He looked at me and said "Michelle Lacey Johnson, We have been best friends since I can remember. I never really had the guts to say this but I love you." As I was about to say something he cut me off. "Ssshhh... I know why am I only saying this to you now but I mean I was busy and and I didnt wanna ruin our relationship. I remember always looking at you more than usual since you've been so pretty in school and I was also jealous since you had a boyfriend in school and would always try to set me up. I love you like family. I wont let anything happen to you. I know we are almost sister and brother but I dont wanna be yohr brother Matty. I wanna be your boyfriend. I wanna be able to kiss you and hold your had while shopping or just anywhere. I seen you with Jeremy and I am not just saying this because I am jealous. But you guys dont go together. He's way taller and a player. I on the other hand will be here for you no matter what. So please please Matty give me a chance."
I looked at him I looked at the time 12:39. I looked back at him and said what I always felt. Mike, Im sorry but i like Jeremy I know like you said we are almost brother and sister and you wanna be more. But I dont. I like having this special connection with you as a brother. I dont wanna date you.Im sorry. I know you like me in that way but im dating Jeremy. Your wrong Jeremy isnt a player and hes definetly not leaving me we just started dating and i have a date with him later on today and Im sorry but I have to leave. I got up as I started walking towards the door but he grabbed my wrist and as I tried loosening his grip as he said "This isnt over." I ran out of the room. I ran down the street and by the time I got to my house it was already 12:48. I gasped wow we only said a little and it took 10 minutes?? wow we talk slow. I run inside quickly take a shower and get dressed quickly as I blowdry my hair I multitask and brush my teeth. Im done!!! and its exactly 1:00!!!! I quickly look at my outfit while putting on my shoes. ( outfit: Blue jean shorts, Pink tanktop with my pink converse.) I run downstairs and run to the door as Jeremy knocks on the door. Wow how lucky am I. This usually does not happen so I mentally fist pumped. I opened the door to reveal Jeremy in blue jeans and a blue shirt. He looks great. He basically dressses like this all the time but now he looks great. He looks at me and gasps he hugs me and whispers "Hello beautiful" I giggle and reply hello gorgeous. Ready? he asks? We walk to the park and he lays a blanket down with the picnic basket which i never even realized that he had when he picked me up.. Weird.... Anyhoo. We sat down and he layed me down so that his thigh was my pillow. He got out all the food that he packed. Pasta alfredo,chocolate strawberries, And my favorite food grapes. Well favorite fruit... It was very cheesey but romantic. He walked me back to my house. I got in and let Jeremy come in. We walked to the couch while a movie was playing. He looked at me and smiled. I smiled back. Jeremy said " You ok?" i replied yes. but i know he knew still that something was still wrong.
