Sitting here in the infirmary next to the Skyfalls is....I don't know how to explain it... Both are barely breathing...

Alice comes over and places one of her hands on top of mine, trying to comfort me. Resting my head on her shoulder, I watch their heart monitors closely.

"They're tough. They'll be alright," Alice says, pulling the front of my hair gently into a blunt spike.

"I know." I just watch the monitors, hoping they don't flat line. James looks worse, but it's really Isabella I'm worried about. She had a crush on him since she was ten. I watched her expression when we reunited with him, and that old light came back. Everyone in camp knows these two are hurt. What is little Bella going through....

I'm just screaming and crying into my pillow now, blasts of magic only bouncing off the walls. James has been hurt.... Luna lashed at my brother and I attacked them in a blind fury... That's what's gotten into James.... We kept our love a secret from Mercus since he wouldn't approve. But now I've hurt him. The lives of a few sometimes outweighs the lives of many. I need to save the Skyfalls somehow...
