Marks words echoed in my head ever since I got out of the hospital.
He doesn't even look at me in school. I really dont know why he doesn't want to forgive Jack.
But im gonna find out tomorrow.
*time spik to next morning*
I headed to school. I kept looking for Mark. I saw him at his locker looking depressed. I walked over to him.
When he saw me he turned mad. It scared me to see him mad, it looked like he wanted to hit me.
"Mark I know your mad at me, but I really want to talk to you."
"Why don't you go talk to Jack you clearly like him more than me."
"Mark I dont understand why you are so mad about me forgiving Jack."
He looked at me for once. I saw his brown eyes and felt like I could get lost in them again.
"Because I care about you, I cant just forgive someone who hurt you like that. So if you forgive him then I cant forgive you for still caring for someone who put you in so much pain."
"Fine Mark then I guess this is goodbye. I cant be in love with someone who can hold a grudge for so long."
I walked away from Mark. I couldn't stand standing next to someone who cant forgive someone who made a mistake.
I went to go find Jack. He hasn't been at school for awhile. I turned the corner and saw Jack leaning against the wall.
I walked over to him. He looked at me in shock and looked around.
"Hey Jack who you looking for?"
"I dont think I should be talking to you."
"Why?"
Now im a bit confused. Why cant he talk to me.
"Well I dont think Mark would like me talking to because of the incident. "
"Jack me and Mark are over. I dont even think we're friends anymore."
"Oh I see. So does that mean your single?"
I was a bit stunned. Why would he ask that? I mean I dont mind because Jack is kinda cute.
"Yea I guess I am."
"Well would you like to... uhh maybe you know go on a date... with me?"
Oh my god did Jack really ask me out. Am I even ready to be dating again. Oh who cares its not like Mark and I are going to get back together anytime soon.
"Yea Jack I would love to go on a date with you."
