"Rose! Why didn't you warn me that you were coming?!" Dawn asked as she answered the door.
"Hey Dawn!" I smiled. Nate waved from behind me. "So, can we come in? We don't have a place to stay as of right now."
"Dawn! Whoever's at the door, let them in and then close it! It's cold outside!" I heard Dan's voice from inside the house. Dawn moved to the side and let us walk in. Nate sighed and sat down on the couch as Dawn shut the door.
Dan then walked in and paused, a surprised look on his face.
"Hey Dan!" I greeted. "Fun fact, we might be related!"
"Wait... WHAT?!" he asked. "When did you get here?!"
"About thirty minutes ago. We got a taxi over here." Nate stated from his position on the couch. "Remind me never to get on a plane with Rose again after this trip."
"Come on, my singing isn't that bad. Plus, I put that screaming toddler to sleep." I chuckled. "So, Dawn, now that we're here, and in person, wanna go write? I brought my laptop."
"Sure. But what was that about with us being related?" she asked.
"We might be cousins. We came over here to get blood tests. Also, Dawn, is your first name Mariella?" Nate wondered. Dawn looked shocked and then angry.
"DANG IT!! WHY DID YOU HAVE TO FIND THAT OUT?!?!"
