Lee glanced around in confusion. There was blood on his hands and the lifeless body of a man in a lab coat that laid a few meters away. The room was dark; the only light came from a flashing alarm in the corner of the room. He could hear footsteps approaching at a fast pace. Commands were being shouted. Suddenly there was a loud explosion and Lee was flung through the air before landing on his back. The boy groaned in pain as he tried to sit up.
Men dressed in black combat gear entered the room and was amimg directly at him. Lee jumped to his feet and backed against the wall. He felt a strange feeling in his gut, almost like it was twisting and tying itself in a knot. There was a surge of green light and Lee was on the other side of the room nearest to the door. He began sprinting down the halls. His bare feet smacking against the concrete floor. He rounded a corner and saw several more soldiers advancing down the hall. Instead of turning and running the other way lee charged towards them. Gunfire erupted all around him and he felt a bullet lodge into his shoulder. Burning pain lanced through him, but he kept his pace and once he got near them the feeling in his gut returned again and this time he jumped over them and landed with a roll before looking behind him at the astonished soldiers. They quickly recovered and one soldier took aim.
Run! A voice in his head told him. Lee turned away from the soldiers and took off once more. Bullets flew past the boy once more tearing through the air and embedding themselves in the walls. Lee rounded another corner in the hallway. He made it halfway down the hall before realizing that there was a large metal door blocking his way out. He slowed his approach and begins looking at the door quizzically. Heave footsteps filled the hall once more.
"Halt!" A deep male voice called out. Lee turned and faced the man
"Why am I here?" Lee said backing towards the door.
"Lee just stay calm. We're not going to hurt you. We're here to help."
Lee glared at the man and took another step back. "You still haven't answered my question."
"Your special, Lee." The man walked forward and holstered his pistol. "But you already knew that didn't you. "
Lee now had his back against the door. "How come I don't remember who I am?" Lee asked as his hand snaked behind his back towards the handle.
The soldier was about ten meters away now and was slowly walking forward. "I don't know lee. We believe your memories were wiped before we found you.... Your wounded. Let us help you."
Lee thought about it for a moment. The man seemed to care for Lee, but if he really did why had they come after him with live ammunition?
Lee's hand found the door handle and he griped it tightly. The man was now less than four meters off.
Damnt Lee get out of there!
A voice yelled in his mind. He twisted the door handle and the door opened. Lee rushed through the doorway and closed the door behind him and locked it. He then found himself in some type of miniature town. Buildings and ships lined a small dirt path and a large barbed wire fence surrounded the entire town.Knowing that the door wouldn't stay locked for long lee took off towards the large fence that surrounded the town. A yellow sign caught his attention.
Danger! 20,000 volts
Lee wondered closer to the fence. His stomach began knotting again and with a surge or green light he was now on the other side. All of a sudden loud alarms began blaring alerting any gaurds in the area that he had escaped.

Lee collapsed onto the ground. He was covered in sweat and dirt from his long day of running. Every now and then the voice in his head would steer him a different direction and he had now found himself on the outskirts of a mid sized city.
Go straight through. Don't talk to anybody. Get to the other side. The voice in his head spoke again. Lee began walking forwarr but suddenly fell to the ground and grabbed his shoulder. Hot pain lanced through his arm. He had almost forgotten about the gunshot wound but was now reminded of it as fresh blood began seeping from his wound.
Anticoagulation bullets. The voice hissed in Lee's mind. I should have known they would play dirty. You need to get to me immediately lee.
"But where are you?" Lee asked desperately and put a hand over his wound.
I've already answered this Lee. Go through the city to the other side. I know it seems like a long way but you can make it before you bleed out.
Lee began moving forward. His mucles ached and he was exhausted, but he moved on anyway, figuring that the suffering would be worth it if he got some answers.
