101 Reasons Why I Hate Being A Girl

63; "If he's rude, he likes you."

One of my pet peeves.

One thing that seriously pisses the fuck out of me.
One mother flipping sentence.

"If he's rude to you, he likes you."

And let me explain everything wrong with that eight word sentence.

When girls start to turn away from dolls, and toys, and their start to experience change. Puberty in general and they begin to pay attention to other things, such as boys or girls.

Dating and having crushes is all new and exciting, even if you admit it or not. Pre teens search for the only answer they can get, asking adults they sincerely trust.

"What does it mean if a boy is mean to me?"

"Oh sweetie that boy likes you."

So girls, if they are very young (and we all know how kids minds are like sponges, they pick up anything they see or hear and engrave it in their mind) girls will start to think, "hmm yeah, every boy that is fucking rude and disrespectful to me, secretly likes me. What a time to be alive."

Here is where things start to aggravate the shit our of me.

Girls begin to think that abuse and disrespect is a sign of love.

Stop spreading all the bullshit about "yeah if he's a disrespectful son of a butter ball mother fucking bitch, he totally likes you. Totes."

There is NO love in abuse.

Don't try and shape young minds into thinking abuse is a sign of love when all they are really trying to do is understand how the real world, the grown up world works.

And it hurts me, knowing not everyone will get to read this.
