Chapter 4

Jordan's POV

I finally reached my house and, great. Nash's car is here. Oh well. I'm already crying. I picked up my skateboard and ran inside.

"Jordan your late." Mom yelled from the kitchen.

"Hey Jordan." Nash said and walked over to me.

"What happened?!" He asked shocked.

Then all the boys come over. I run really fast past them and run into my room. I lock the door and slide down it.

BANG

BANG

"Go Away!" I yelled.

"Jordan. Let us in!" Nash yelled.

I didn't answer.

"Seriously Jordan. Let us in." Hayes said.

I still didn't answer.

They kept shaking the door nob and yelling. They finally stopped and walked away after a few minutes. Then I heard soft footsteps coming.

"Jordan. Can I come in?" I heard Sky say.

I can't say no to her. I got up and slightly opened the door and let her in. Once she walked in I heard the boys coming so I quickly closed the door and locked it.

"Sissy what's wrong?" She asked.

I hugged her and sat down on my bed.

"My best friend got really hurt, and I wasn't there for her. Now she has to get surgery." I said while crying.

"Its Ok sissy. She'll be Ok." Sky said hugged.

"What happened to her?" She asked.

"She was in a car accident. I really bad one.." I said while crying harder.

"Its going to be Ok sissy. Do you want me to get mommy?" She asked.

"No. But can you tell her to bring up some food for me. Just tell her that I'm upset right now and I'll talk to her when she's up here." I said and forced a smile.

"Ok sissy." She said and kissed my cheek.

I unlocked the door for her and she walked out. I locked the door again and continued crying.

"Jordan Honey. Its mom." I heard.

I opened the door and she was holding a plate full of food and juice. I let her in and locked the door.

"Thank you mom." I said and sat down.

"What's wrong honey?"

"S-she's in the h-hospital mom." I cried and hugged her.

"She's my best friend and I wasn't there for her. Her dad passed mom. He was like my second dad." I cried.

"It's Ok sweetheart. She knows you care and you wish you were there. You wouldn't be able to stop what happened even if you were there." My mom said.

"That's not the point mom. She's in the hospital with a broken rib, arm, and ankle and all of my best friends are there except for me. I have been her best friend since I moved to Florida and I wasn't there. This is one of the the most important times I should be there and I wasn't." I cried.

"Its Ok honey. She'll be Ok. She knows you care. You'll see her again. Don't worry." My mom said.

"Go finish eating. Just bring down the plate and cup tomorrow Ok?" She said.

I nodded and she let herself out.

The door slowly opened and Nash peeked through.

"Jordan. Can I come in?" He asked.

I nodded.

"Wait. Hayes too." I said.

He nodded and walked out. A few seconds later he came in with Hayes. They walked in and sat on the bed. I hugged them and just sat there crying. Nash pulled me onto both of them and I just stayed there.

"What happened?" Hayes asked.

"My best friend is in the hospital." I said.

I explained what happened and basically said what mom said. Hayes walked out but Nash stayed.

"You know Nicole. She's lucky to have you. I know she knows that you care a lot about her." He said and hugged me

I nodded and hugged back. We just stayed there like that and I slowly fell asleep...

Nash's POV

I looked down and she was asleep. I laid her down on her bed and walked downstairs.

"Where's Jordan?" Cameron asked.

"She fell asleep." I said plainly.

"What happened to her?" Matt asked

"Um.. Her friend is in the hospital and he dad didn't make it. She feels bad that she isn't there." I said and sat down.

Everyone nodded and went back to what they were doing. As for me, I went back upstairs and went to bed..
