I drop the letter and cover my eyes. Before I can even think about what to say. He says "Hold on" and closes the door once again. I peak through my finger double checking that he is gone, leaning down I collecting the letter and once again he opened the door this time fully clothed.
"Nice to know your very conformable with strangers" I say as I stand.
"Well I saw you walking away I just figured I would hurry and catch you and I guess that included throwing on a towel and nothing else" He had a slight accent which was adorable, I stopped myself thinking I just pretty much saw this kid naked and didn't even know his name.
"Well What's your name?" He beats me to the question and I stumble over it.
"Tammi Havers, You" I pull my hair out of my face waiting for a response.
"What if I was a killer or something?" He smirks at me.
"A killer would try to make an impression try to lure me in, and honestly the whole towel thing wasn't the best impression" I looked him straight in the eyes with a perfect smile.
" Wow, you got me there, maybe I should worry about you?" He laughs it off. " Well because we have settled that im Tyler Cole"
"Well I guess this is for you then," I hand him the letter which brought me to his doorstep in the first place.
"Yes it is, and Are you new here or something I know most people in this area"
"Umm Yea I moved in down the road" I answer all of a sudden becoming more quiet and shy when the whole moving thing came up.
"Oh fun so do you go to Raiser?" He doesn't even notice my change of attitude so we continue on with the conversation.
"Yea I do actually." I attempt to adjust my mood again.
"Do you need a ride? Give me a chance to meet my new neighbor," He smiles hopefully.
I laugh "I actually don't but I will still take your offer," My mom is willing to drive and technically I have a license but im not used to this woodland dirt roads so I wasn't too comfortable driving yet.
"Okay see you on Monday Tammi," He enters partially back into the house.
"Bye!" I turn walking back down the drive way and look back as I turn onto the main road.
Maybe this isn't the worse town.
