"Where is he?" demanded Angelo Evans, his voice cold as ice and clear as a crystal, and pointed his gun towards his enemy's head.

They were inside a dark, isolated and old hideout hidden faraway from the city and a town. It was hardly cemented. Small rocks were falling from above as the hideout started to shake violently.

He and his team were on a mission. His team consisted of a five-man squad.

"You've got twenty minutes left to leave the hideout," a voice informed him, but he ignored it.

It was one of his teammates. Inside his ear, was a wireless bluetooth receiver that was made especially for them. What made this bluetooth special was that it couldn't be tracked.

"I'm not going to repeat myself," Angelo paused and pulled the trigger of his gun, "Talk."

On the other side of the room, there stood a man. His bloody face showed genuine concern for his partner and exhaustion from all the fighting. He slowly approached Angelo and walked over a pile of dead men.

"We don't have much time, Angelo. We need to leave before this house collapse completely," the man stated as calmly as he could.

"And I'm not going to leave. I'm not going to leave until I know where they're hiding my boyfriend, Ethan!" Angelo shouted, his voice shaky as he briefly looked at Ethan before he forcefully pushed the tip of his gun at the man, cowering in fear before him.

Ethan sighed, his genuine concern was now replaced by frustration, and rephrased his words carefully, "we need to leave or we'll die. We can figure something out. We always do."

Knowing the truth behind Ethan's words, Angelo looked at his partner longingly, before smashing the back of his gun at the enemy's head, knocking him out.

"Good, now let's go. The rest of the team are waiting outside," Ethan informed his partner and pulled his arm, as they both got out of the room.

"Fourteen minutes left," the same voice from earlier informed the both of them.

"Roger that, Josh," Ethan said, as they both continued to walk carefully but fast enough to dodge the falling rocks.

The hideout shook harder this time, and debris started falling from above - which missed the both of them, if they hadn't dodged it in time.

Ethan walked faster and his grip on Angelo's arm loosened. The action caused Angelo to walk faster but suddenly, a hollow block fell on his right leg. He fell down on the hard concrete floor and yelled out in pain and profanities came out of his mouth, like a broken radio.

"Fucking shit!" he yelled out, closed his eyes and reached for his leg - which wss throbbing in pain.

Ethan looked behind and panic slightly rose from his chest when he saw Angelo wasn't following him, but instead on the ground, in agony. He quickly turned around and immediately helped his partner. He kneeled down beside Angelo and pushed the hollow block away from his leg.

Angelo screamed out in pain again. His eyes were closed and his breathing was ragged.

"Are you okay?" Ethan asked and carefully touched Angelo's leg.

When he unintentionally pressed slightly harder, a hard punch was directly aimed at his face.

"What the fuck? What the fucking hell was that for?"

Ethan flinched again when another punch was aimed at him, but this time on the shoulder.

"Don't f-fucking touch my leg, you asshole," Angelo seethed as tears slowly fell from his eyes.

"I'm sorry, okay? Jesus Christ," Ethan grumbled and held his head in pain before carrying Angelo bridal style carefully.

Once he was safely in Ethan's arms, Ethan didn't waste any time and ran as fast as his legs could do towards the exit. On the way towards the exit, Angelo was starting to lose consciousness.

"Stay with me, buddy. Don't you fucking dare close your eyes," Ethan muttered when he saw Angelo's eyes starting to close and ran faster.

When they finally reached the exit, he was immediately assisted to his car and safely put Angelo on the passenger seat - which he had to lie down, so his partner could be well-elevated.

Ethan carefully slapped his partner on the face and shook his body, and said, "Wake up, buddy. Come on!"

Another member of their team, Josh, approached the two of them and said, "We need to get him to the hospital as soon as possible."

"He hates hospitals," Ethan muttered, his gaze never leaving his partner's well-being, but loud enough for the rest of them team to hear.

"We know, Ethan. But we don't have any other choice right now," said by the only female member of the team, Ashley.

Ethan hesitantly nodded, closed the passenger's door carefully and went around the car to sit at the driver's seat. He turned the ignition on and drove off to the nearest hospital they could find, with a certain black-haired partner clouding his mind.
