This story is inspired by true events that happened in my life with soccer and futsal. The characters are mostly made up and it is not 100% acruate to my life just so you know. Have fun reading!
"Whoo go bro!" I shout. Actually boo my brother Jimmy. This sounds so rude but if I'm not allowed to do what he is doing, you would kinda guess I'm angry. "YAY! Great GOAL!" actually it was a pathetic goal. He just stole of from another player and selfishly scored a goal. I can play way better soccer than that, if only if they would let me. Where I live, it is unheard of that a girl wants to play soccer, infact its pretty much unknown. I have this dream, it is not like any other dream, it's a dream that can change lives, to let girls play soccer. I know it sounds stupidish but makes sense. When I told my brother about this, he just laughed and said "Your joking... right?!?". I was soo angry at him. I just want the oppotunity to play soccer, I never have and possibly never will. How am I going to achieve my dream if soccer for girls is sort of not allowed. It's so unfair.
Last weekend of school holidays...
Watching soccer while Jimmy is practing his soccer skills again. Jimmy always gets to practice just because he plays for a team and i don't, so unfair. Luckily he dosen't get to watch Manchester United versus West Ham. Go West Ham. I am a rebilious child. Everyone goes for Manchester United but I go for West Ham. Ha ha ha. My bro and I have a rivalry every time this game is on. It is the 89th minute and no one has scored. "Come on West Ham!" I scream at the TV. "Settle down Ckaudia!" screams my mum Julie. Whatever. Suddenly Kevin Nolan gets the ball and runs towards the goals. Come on! Come on! He shoots and he scores with 14 second remaining. "YES! YEAH! YAY! WA HOOOO!" I scream at the top of my lungs. West Ham won. The back door opens and Jimmy rushes in. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Manchester United lost! NOO!" he wailed like the world was going to end. I was just laughing because West Ham won. "Jimmy stop that carry on immediately!" my mum screams angrily. On anoher note, we are picking winter sports tomorow. Hopefully soccers on that list, it probably is but will I be able play. Will I start making my dreams come true?
