"Azalea where are you going" Carson yells as he, and his younger brother and sister along with they friends ran after a running Azalea. "What's going on" ask Will? As he was running while he was starring at his older brother with wide eyes. "I agree" Julie said, Carson didn't know what was going on with his baby sister. All Carson could remember was that they were playing in the back yard.
When Azalea stops playing and took off running in the direction of the woods. That's how they found theirs self's now. But the situation reminded him of a distant dream. He shook it off as something else, a different feeling. The new feeling was a need.
Like he didn't care, why he had to follow her, he just needed too. He then looked over at his friend Juno and could see that he was running fast just like him, then he really knew something was wrong. That it was happing to everyone else too. Finally his little sister stopped, her white lace dress bellowed around her ankles. Then he looked straight ahead.
To see a ten foot hole ahead of them and in the center of the hole was a beautiful whitish-sliver-ish rock with little grooves in it. Then the feeling came back to him, and then they came to know why they followed her now. His little sister Azalea came to the rock, and looks back at Carson and her younger siblings with a gleam in her eyes. As she laid a hand on the rock. Carson followed her example an, hesitantly laid his hand on the rock along which the other.
Then a bright light, emerge like a supernova around us. When it subsided, a strange mark appeared on their chests. It looked like a star, and Carson along with the others felt a strange power. "What is this mark" Fay asks as she looks at her brothers, sister, and friends with wonder and fear in her voice. "I don't know" Azalea said touching her mark then a voice was in their minds.
"My sweet little Starlings" the unfamiliar female voice song sadly. "Who are you" they all though. "I am the one who call you" "why" Tam ask in his high gay voice. "Because you are the last of the Starlings children to awaken on Earth and you need to be warned." "Of what" they ask still con fuse of what the word Starlings mean. The unfamiliar voice said "the Shades"
"What are the Shades" they ask scare out of their minds at the word. "The Shades" she said "they are the reason you all were asleep." "What do you mean asleep" Carson asks still wondering who the woman was, as she spoke. "It is a long story, and to answer your question my name is Floria." "Will you please tell us the story Floria" Fay asks. "If you wish little one" Floria said kindly.
Floria's story
"A long, long time ago Starlings lived in a distance planet of Keyloria it was an enchanting place. Full of life and happiest where we could be ourselves and live in peace.
Where at your ages you be already grow in your powers and living your life's not worry about the dangers you face now on Earth and about the marks on your chests is a simple of the stars each one of you are connected to, back to the story on Keyloria I was the queen and during my reign it was peaceful and prosperous, Nature and animals were free spirits. Until thing started to change it became more stormy animals and people started going missing and when they were found all of them, had been found turned into stone.
That when we knew something was wrong so I decided to put thing on high alert children had to be escorted home from school dragon riders guards had to be situated around the cities. That's when they came, it was a normal night when one of my highest guards came bursting into to throw room and said they seen weird creekers flying towards the castle so I may a quick decision to have the guards put the barriers up so we could gather up the army for war.
It took days to rally the troops together and by that time the barriers were almost breached. So we decided to take them down and make the first move. As we got closer to the creators they were the most, horrible thing you could ever image they had no bodies but they had the shape of a human body with bat like wings and empty eye shocks and when they scream they could put a Banshee to shame and when they bite your blood turns to fire and your body turns to stone you're not dead your just trap. But when we get to a certain age we become immortal so you could image the pain of being trap in stone for eternity with the only thing to free you is the awaking stone.
