Theo's POV:
I walked to the class, alone. Why? Why did I have to leave Amsterdam and come here? All alone? No friends? I ate alone. At least in class I have Peter next to me who seems to be a considerate and good person. Maybe he could be a good friend.
As I entered the class, I saw Peter sitting on the bench next to Vanessa's. As I saw her, she looked away. Her eyes were sad. I desperately wanted to ask her what had happened, but I couldn't make her cry more. I sighed. I did not want to unnecessarily be a problem.
The classes started. It was Math, oh I loved Math! Peter was good at Math too, he said so. He told me he had been in this school since fifth grade, yet he did not have a huge bunch of friends.
It seemed tough for me to get new friends.
The bell rang. Lunch. The classes ran as fast as they could. Brilliant. I could go home. And talk to mom.
Peter and I walked out. Vanessa sat there with Sarah, thinking of something. She was not so sad until now. I tried to smile at her. She smiled back. I was not making things worse.
Peter asked me if I could join him for playing basketball with him.
Maybe I could get some good friends after all! 😇

Vanessa's POV
Oh no! Lunch time. Again, I would be harassed. Oh, how I missed Anna! Why? Why me? What had I done?
"Are you not hungry?" She questioned me.
Maybe I should be with those who love me. I looked at Sarah. Maybe we are not so good friends yet, but at least she cares for me.
"Let's go" I smiled at her.
Yeah.
At least there is someone who loves me.
