Three days earlier...

"Tell me again why I am going to Japan?" Damian scoffed at his father, Chaos sitting in front of him in a leather black office chair.

They both were sitting in the House of the Dead, Chaos' company building. With a staff of twenty hundred, he was a successful assassin leader.

His dark hair covered half of his burgundy eyes, his grip tightened in the chair's arm, claws beginning to show. He hated his teeth revealing his fangs that were growing. Impatience filled his facial expression. This was the fourth time Damian had asked the question. And Chaos was getting tired of it.

"Because, Shai Li needs a escort to the Underworld. And she asked specifically for you. Do you have a problem with that?" Chaos explained, his voice gritting. He stood from his chair to his full height as Damian rolled his eyes. Chains hanging from different parts of his jacket and jeans swung loosely from Chaos's body. Also rising to his feet, Damian looked up at his father with hate. Why did it have to be me? Chaos towered over his son with his massive build, and his attire made it noticeable.

Every inch of Chaos' body was covered in black, from his western boots, jeans, muscle shirt, leather biker jacket, and the bandanna that hung off of his neck, he looked like a badass. Two feet long blades were sheathed in his belt loops, both handles filled with mystical writing. Runes as Hunters would call them. They kept demons from breaking weapons and injuring them most of the time. If they were right. He started to run the ball point end of the swords.

Chaos's silver and golden curved handles felt heavy with the additional weight to them from the elongated thick blades that were connected. The weapons had been formed by a angel three years prior and had been used like words. He let his blades do the talking for him.

"My son, you need this job. I know Li. He pays well and isn't a bad person." Chaos explained. Damian met his glare and frowned.

"Dad, I'm 20 now. I can make my own decisions on who is good and who's not. And Shai Li is a horrible person that I will not be working for or with!" Damian shouted, throwing his hands up in the air. He ran his hand through the spikes in his white hair, his shirt's sleeve getting caught on one. Yanking it, he put his hand to his sides.

"This mission. I've never done anything like it. I mean...the Underworld? Isn't it dangerous down there?" Damian asked.

"You're talking to a half demon, ya know. Indeed it's dangerous. But isn't our job?" Chaos said.

"Yeah, you're right. Still though, the Underworld is full of Fallen and Forbidden. I have to protect some Archangel? Why can't he protect himself?"

"Angels have no power in the Underworld. The theory has been tested many times. All have either ended up dead or never returned." Chaos explained, taking a seat. "So she'll need a partial demon and a Hunter like you."

Damian started to think on what his father was saying. He was right. Angels were powerless and weak in the Underworld. They would need someone that was holy to help them. Or at least guide them through there and hope for the best.

"Point taken. Will I need any special equipment?"

"Here," Chaos threw his son both of his swords. Quickly, Damian caught the weapons, spinning them between his fingers on both hands. His wrist moved awkwardly as he started to twirly the katanas in the air. "Take care of them."
