Victoria Justice as Isabella Washington

~Isabella Washington~

I tried to avoid Finn the rest of the week but fate was never in my favor. I had bumped into him a total of 7 times and it had been very awkward.

"Isabella! Isabella! ISABELLA MAXINE WASHINGTON," Jes shouted trying to catch my attention. You couldn't blame me, I was daydreaming of unicorns dancing on pink rainbows. Don't ask why.

"Yeah, Jessica Macy Walters," I replied casually with a smirk.

"I've been shouting your name for 5 minutes. Are you deaf?" She asked.

"Obviously not, because I'm talking you," I sassed. Jes rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.

"Well, it's Friday and I wanted to go see that new horror movie coming out. You up for a

midnight premiere?" She wriggled her eyebrows and smiled, clearly excited to see this movie. I shrugged.

"I don't know Jes, I think I'll pass tonight." Jes's shoulders drooped and she cocked her head at me.

"What's wrong with you? You never pass up an invitation to a midnight premiere, especially a horror movie at that." I played with a strand of my black hair.

"I don't know Jes, I've just been feeling off lately."

"Well, how about the two of us have a girls night tonight, my house. Movies, popcorn and much much more!" She exclaimed, sounding quite like a commercial advertiser.

"Ok," I chuckled. "Sounds like a plan I'll come over around 5." Jes gave a thumbs up. The bell rang, signalling the start of the last period of the day. I cursed, now noticing there was nobody in the hall. I gave Jes a curt goodbye before rushing down the hall to my last class, history. I clutched the doorknob of the classroom door and stepped in. All eyes landed on me, just great. I sighed and slipped into my familiar seat on the back corner of the class.

"You're late Miss Washington," Mr. Novelli scolded from the front of the room. I fought the urge to sass back and I put on a fake smile.

"Sorry sir, won't happen again." He nodded and turned back to the board. I popped a piece of gum into my mouth and leaned back slightly in my chair. Mr. Novelli seemed to speak in long monotone intervals, going on about whatever time period we were studying, not that I payed much attention in his class anyways. I knew it all anyways. The class was painfully boring, as always. I glanced at the clock, 10 minutes of torture before I was finally free.

"Miss Washington," I jerked my head to face the front of the class where my grey haired teacher stood with his arms crossed.

"The answer please." I looked around at my classmates who looked at me in expectation. I shrugged.

"Can you repeat the question please." Mr. Novelli sighed.

"Why was the eiffel tower built?"

"The Eiffel Tower was built for the International Exhibition of Paris of 1889 commemorating the centenary of the French Revolution." I answered smoothly. Mr. Novelli looked surprisingly at my before snapping out of his shocked state.

"Very good." The bell rang and I collected my books, slipping out of the classroom before anyone could ask me anything else. I opened my locker and grabbed a few folders and books I would need for schoolwork over the weekend, shoving them into my backpack. I slammed my locker and headed out of the school. The sun shone above me, washing soft light over me. I loved the spring. A variety of colored flowers grew around the school, swaying slightly in the breeze.
