"Internal Affairs"

It was the day after Deeks got arrested right I front of Kensi' eyes.....Sam was the second one in as Callen slept on the sofa at work.......Kensi then dashed through putting her bag on her desk and looking for Hetty for answers. But then Granger came through and wanted to talk to Agent Blye for a second in the armoury.......

"They're saying Deeks killed a man named Francis Boyle." Kensi said trying to explain "Well, he was briefly Deeks' partner. Suspected of being a dirty cop. Did he ever talk to you about him?" Granger asked "Never by name. But he did mention a partner that put a gun to his mouth once after Deeks confronted him about getting a confession out of a suspect with a pot of hot coffee." Kensi explained "Good Lord." Hetty said sounding very shocked "He transferred to undercover after that." Kensi continued "He tell you how Boyle was killed?" Granger said "Shot with his own gun by a hooker he'd beaten up. I'm sorry, you don't believe him?" Kensi asked as Hetty and Granger looked at each other "Doesn't matter what we believe. It's what IA can prove." Granger replied "Drop everything and get Detective Deeks out of this mess." Hetty answered

Kensi then returned to ops so everyone else could be filed in........

"Francis Boyle was an LAPD veteran of 19 years and Detective Third Class when Deeks was assigned to him as a partner." Nell said kicking it off "He's got a lot of reprimands and complaints in his file." Sam said "Well, he came through to him the department at a time when accountability wasn't considered important." Nell explained "This is Boyle's former partner, Detective Bruce Steadman. He's still on the force. His docket isn't much better. The police department split them up, hoping it would reduce the problem. It didn't." Eric said also explaining "Deeks said that Francis Boyle had a reputation for beating up prostitutes." Kensi added "Sounds like he was asking for it." Sam replied "And yet Deeks is getting charged with the murder." Kensi finished off "Why now? New evidence pop up? A new witness step forward?" Sam asked the wonder twins "We don't know. But Hetty wants us to find out." Nell said "Then let's find out." Sam said after everyone left the ops centre

After everyone was filed in and to work Kensi had a phone call from Deeks house......it was his mom Roberta......

(phone rings) "Hello?" Kensi said on the phone "Hey, it's me." Deeks replied "Hi, baby, where are you?" Kensi asked him "I'm in lockup. This is my one phone call. I'm being held without bail 'cause they think I'm a flight risk." Deeks explained wig a little hummer "Are you kidding me? That's ridiculous. Okay, listen, did they ask you about John Quinn?" Kensi asked changing the subject "Quinn? No, why?" Deeks answered "He escaped from prison. Deeks?" Kensi said "No, I'm here, I'm here." He replied "Okay, what is going on?" She replied to him "I don't know. I honestly don't know." Deeks said "Okay, well, IA is all over your house right now." Kensi mentioned "My house? I don't know what the hell they think they're gonna find there." Deeks explained "I don't know, but they're tearing the place apart." Kensi answered

"All right, well, just keep an eye on 'em, 'cause I wouldn't put it past 'em to plant some evidence. And please, Kensi, whatever you do, do not tell my mother." Deeks asked her "Is that Martin?" Roberta said shouting at the phone  Oh, you got to be kidding me. Kensi." Deeks said hearing his mother on the phone "Martin, don't worry, honey, we're gonna get you the best lawyer in the country. Maybe even that Johnnie Cochran. Let me talk to him." Roberta explained trying to help "One second." Kensi said to her quietly "Time's up. Get off the phone." The gard said to Deeks "I just I Just give me two seconds, all right? Just two seconds. Also, I need you to check out Boyle's old partner, Bruce Steadman. Rumor was these guys were stealing guns, drugs and money from busts and they were never caught for it. And also, please tell my mom that Johnnie Cochran's been dead for, like, ten years. Hello?" Deeks asked and explained to Kensi "Wait, Martin? Martin, honey, are you okay?" Roberta said as she grabbed Kensi' phone "Son of a So no rollover minutes," Deeks said to the guard then? "He's gone." Roberta said
