Chapter Four

And pushed Chris down the stairs. Luckily, Chris didn't get hurt. "That's not enough. I said I don't want to see you again Chris." Tia said. Chris didn't respond. He get up and walks towards Tia. "I'm warning you, Chris. I can hurt you as much as I want just to keep your distance from me" said Tia bravely. But Chris just hug her. She can't escape, Chris has this big muscles. And his grip is so tight, it's impossible for her to escape. She tried everything. She even bite Chris's right ear but nothing. Chris stay quiet and still hugging her. Tia gave up. She didn't fight anymore.

"You can hurt me as much as you want. That's okay with me. The moment that I saw you in the road that day, I knew you're the one I've been looking for. Lucy" Chris said sincerely. Tia's heart flattered. "What are you talking about? You're married, right? Why saying things like that to me?" Tia asked. "I didn't mean to hurt you by keeping a secret from you. But I'll tell you, I filed a divorce with my wife 6 months ago. And she already signed the papers" Chris said. "What?" Tia turn red.

Ring! Ring! Ring!

It's Oliver. Chris let Tia go. "I have to take this" said Tia. Chris just nodded. "Hi Oliver, I'm still at home.","I have to talk to you now, girl. It's something you must know." Oliver said. "What is it? Why can't you just tell me now?", "It's about Chris." said Oliver. "What are you talking about? You just met him.","He's not the person you think he is." Oliver suddenly hangs up. "What's going on? You seem tense." asked Chris. Tia look at him. "I have to go somewhere. I'm sorry but I have to ask you to leave. We can talk later." Tia said. Chris look confused. "Okay, I understand." Chris left.

Few moments later...

Oliver called again.

"Is he still there? Is he still with you?" Oliver sounded terrified. "No, he just left. What is it? Can you cut to the chase and just tell me?"said Tia, worried. "Tia, you have to promise me not to see him again.","What? Come on , Oliy." Tia sighed. "Okay, where are you?" asked Tia. A moment of silence. "Oliver, still there?","I'm at home. Come on over. I'll wait for you" Oliver said. "Okay." Tia hangs up.

On her way, Tia noticed something. There's a van parked not far away from her house. She's sure it wasn't Chris's. But then...
