The next morning Ross and I invited EVERYONE we know to our house
Max, Cory, Tim, Ethan, Emily, Red, John, Maddie, Bee, Maggie, Declan, Austin, Trin, Payton, Jin, and everyone else we know
I even invited Connor 'cuz YOLO!
When everyone (except Connor) was at our house, Ross and I said we had something very important to say
"What is it?!" Jin asked on the edge of his seat
I giggled
Suddenly there was a knock at the door
"I'll get it!" I said "it's probably just the pizza guy!"
I walked over to the door and opened it
It's... Connor
"Oh my god!" I giggle screamed
"You ok!" Cory said walking up behind me
"Ya Cory!" I said "this is my friend Connor!"
"Hey!" Connor said
"Hey!" Cory said "I'm Cory, (y/n)'s brother!"
"I didn't know you have a brother!" Connor told me
"Long lost brother!" I corrected
"Oh!" He chuckled
~Ross' POV~
I scowled
"What's is wrongs Ross?" Barney asked worryingly
"Connor..." I hissed
Bee shot up off her chair
"Rival~chan is here?!" She hissed
"Grr" I started walking towards the door
"Oh!" Connor said "hi!"
I put on my best smile and stood beside (y/n)
"Hi!" I beamed
"Why did you invite me here?" He asked
"Well..." (y/n) said "Ross and I are engaged!"
His smile suddenly went away
Then he plastered a fake smile on his face
He quickly pulled out his phone
"Oh no!" He exclaimed
"What's wrong?" (Y/n) asked
"My sister got in a really bad car accident!"
"What?!" (Y/n) gasped
"I have to get back to Boston immediately!"
He quickly sprinted away
But I noticed something...
There was nothing on his phone screen

I hope Connor's sister is ok... Sophia and I are great friends...
We walked back into the living room
"Sooooooooooo!" Jess and Alesa said at the same time
They could barely stay in one spot
"Well..." I said looking up at Ross
I held up my hand
"WE'RE ENGAGED!" I yelled smiling from ear to ear
Jess and Alesa screamed and hugged me tight
~Time skip a few days~
Alesa and Jess are taking me dress shopping
After trying a few dresses I fell in love with a beautiful gown
It had lace arms and a big, poofy skirt (pic above)
I wanted to pay since it's a lot of money but Alesa and Jess insisted they paid
We also got shoes to match the dress
They're lace with a heel (also above)
When I got home I quickly put the dress and shoes in my closet
Suddenly, Ross called me
"Hello?" I asked, answering the phone
"Hey babe!" I heard Ross say
"Why'd ya call meh?" I said giggling a little
"Can you come over?" He asked
"Sure!" I said "b-"
He cut me off
"Wait!" He said "can you bring Maggie and Declan?"
"Sure!" I said "I'll come by in a little bit, I just have to check the mail!"
"Ok" he said "love ya! Bye!"
"Bye!" I giggle "love you! Mwah!"
I heard him chuckle and the phone went dead
I placed it on my nightstand and went outside to the mailbox
I flipped through the bills and magazines when I noticed something
A letter for me from Ireland? I thought
I opened the letter and read it

Dear Ms. (Y/n)
This is Rachel's father, Michael.
Rachel has sadly passed away from natural causes
I was hoping if you could adopt my dear grandchildren
For my wife, Caroline, and I can not
If you could there is no need to write back
Thank you,
Mr. and Mrs. O'Connor

I was frozen with tears in my eyes
I turned to see Declan and Maggie behind me
"Is there a new American Girl Doll mag-" Maggie started "oh my gosh! What's wrong?!"
"We-we need to talk." I said sitting down in the living room
"W-what's w-wrong?" Declan asked
"I got a letter from your grandparents..." I said
"What does it say?" Maggie asked
"Y-your m-m-mother h-has p-p-p-passed a-a-away..." I started to cry
"Do we h-have to go back to Ireland?" Declan asked
"N-no..." I said calmly "Your grandfather has asked me to adopt you..."
They looked at me blankly
"Is...is that ok?..." I asked
Maggie hugged me
"If I can't have my birth mom, then, I want you as my mom!" She said
"And me get a new dad too!" Declan said hugging me
"Oh ya!" I giggled "Ross! He wanted us to come over!"
"Ok!" They both said as they raced out the door and to the car
"Wait up!" I yelled giggling
I hopped in the driver's seat and started driving to Ross' apartment
I turned up the radio and we all sang along to random songs

When we got there, Ross and Bee were sitting on the couch looking at a computer
"Hey!" Ross said "what do you think about this house?"
