"My Body, Is Your Party"
Chapter 1
My name is Kristina Sinclair and I just recently moved to San Diego with my dad. My mom and dad never really got along much since I was a young girl around the age of 12. I'm now 20. Since my mom and dad just divorced about a month ago I decided to move here with my dad and his soon to be wife.
My parents been separated for at least 4 years and the divorce been out off a couple of times. I never really got along with my mom, people say we're just alike.
My siblings are way old than me. Well maybe at least 3-4 years older than me. My sister is 24 who is a young nurse and my brother is a game designer, who would've guessed. He's 23. And here I am the baby of the pact, 20 years old, left my boyfriend back in New York.
I must admit things will be pretty different since now I am going to this dance academy called "Body Goddess".
First day
"Hi my Name is Kristina Sinclair and this is my first day here." I said to the guy at the receptionist desk.
"I would look like a receptionist with these glasses." He took them off. "Where are you from?" He said.
"I'm from New-" He cut me off.
"Yeah, yeah. You're the one we recruited from New York right?" He asked.
"Yeah, I am actually." I replied.
"You've got some serious talent. Oh by the way, the name is Jayson but everyone calls me Jay." Jay said.
"Nice to meet you Jay. Are you a student here?" I asked.
He laughed at my question. "Do I amuse you?" I asked.
"No, you don't. You're the first to ask me that. I'm one of the instructors here. I was the one who recruited you, you just met Jenny, the head of recruiting. You're lucky you're in my class, you don't want to do all of those ballerina dances." He laughed.
"Jay very funny. We do not dance like ballerina. Hi I'm Sammie. I'm the head coordinator of this academy. Don't pay Jay any attention this is his daily job." Sammie said.
"He's actually funny."
"You are a very good dancer" sammie said.
"Where is everyone?" I asked.
"In different dance studios." Jay said as we walked to his studio. I was amazed at just seeing at least 10 people in the studio.
"Where is everyone else, are we early?" I asked.
Him and Sammie laughed at the question I asked. "No, this is it. We're very low key with our dancers we want the best and only the best. So consider yourself lucky." Sammie said.
"Okay, I'll keep that in mind." I said.
"Wanna put your dance moves where your mouth is?" Jay asked.
"Um sure. Lets go." I said.
"Okay class this is our new student and she's very good so cut her some slack, and also no hazing this one!" He said.
The class started to "boo" him.
"Come on everyone she's great she's at your level. But let's start with introductions so Kristina you're first."
"Hi, I'm Kristina I'm from New York-" Jay cut me off.
"No, introduce yourself with your dancing, tell your story by dancing. Look." He started to dance and when he finished, he completed the dance with his name.
"I gotcha" I said and I started to dance and throughout the dance I said "Kristina Sinclair." When I finished everyone cheered.
Later That Day----
Hours and hours of dancing stretching and gymnastics it was time for home. We all went to the locker room and showered and got our things and started to head towards home.
"Thanks Jay. This was amazing." I said.
"No problem. I'm glad you enjoyed. You're very good." He grabbed my hand. "I really like your dancing. It's unique. I'm glad that I can help you out." He said.
"Well I need to be heading home, my dad gets really worried when I'm out late." I said.
"No worries, it's okay. Just be ready tomorrow. We're dancing with partners and you're my partner. I only pick the best that's in the class." I was amazed with what he just said. I'm totally crushing on Jay. "See you tomorrow." He winked at me and I smiled back and walked out of the door.
I have a thing for Jayson. I giggled and got in my Honda Accord 2012 my dad just bought me a few days ago and went home. What a great first day.

Chapter 2
As I wake up, I smell breakfast being cooked by Nora, my future step mom. I make my way into my bathroom and begin to prepare myself for another day at the dance academy. It does not feel like I've been here two months already.
As I begin to put my gym shorts on and my fitted tank top on, I receive a phone call from Alyssa.
"Hello?" I answered. "Hey Kris, I was wondering are you available this Friday night to join me at Olive Garden for my boyfriends birthday?" She said.
"Well, you two will be coupled off and I will be like the third wheel." I replied. "Plus I have a show to do Friday at 8."
"You didn't tell me! I have to cancel dinner. We'll come see you your show? Will you be dancing with the famous Jay?" She asked.
"Something like that. I have to go, I don't want to be late." I hung up and started back getting dressed. As soon as I started to put on my dance shoes another phone call came through on my phone. "Hello?" I answered.
"Hey baby, how are you?" Mike, my boyfriend from home, said.
"I'm good, I'm just going to be late for dance class is all. I was suppose to be there at least an hour earlier to learn my solo. But hey no one is ever on time." I said. I began to finish putting my shoes on while we carried a conversation that led into a big argument about me spending too much time dancing.
"I'm sorry Mike but if I want to become a professional dancer like Jay, Sammie, and Jenny, then I have to work hard. If you can't accept me doing my job why are you with me?" I asked.
"You know I ask myself that everyday and yet I still don't know why. We haven't seen each other in months but we're still together." He said aggressively.
"It's not like I can catch a cab to get to you. But if you're questioning yourself, why don't we make very easy. I'm done." I snapped and hung up the phone and headed out of the house with no breakfast.
I was soon at the dance studio and stretching with Milan, Sophie, Hunter, Scott, and Tyanna.
"If that was me I would have kicked his ass to the curb a long time ago." Tyanna said.
"You can't kick people to the curb all the time Ty" Hunter said.
"It's fine because I'm better off without him." I said. Jay came into the class and began giving us instructions on what to do that day. To be honest my mind wasn't with it today and I was all off.
How could Mike do me this way? We've been dating for 5 years and he treats me this way. What did I do for him to really bring me down the way he did. Every thought went through my head that day.
Next thing I remember is packing up heading home for the day. Jay pulled me to the side before I could leave out of the building.
"Your mind isn't on dancing anymore, what's going on with you Kris?" Jay asked.
"Jay today is not the day okay so please don't start with me." I said politely.
"It's that Mike isn't it?" He asked.
"Well we kind of broke up today and its pretty hard for me." I said.
"I can't tell. Look if you're going to let a guy come in between your dancing, maybe dancing isn't your passion like you say it is." He said.
"Dancing is my life, I can never stop dancing. It's something I can't stop doing. Jay you just don't know how much I love dancing, but this guy broke my heart today. He's killing me." I said holding back my tears.
"Let's put those feelings on the floor then." He said leading me to his empty studio. He started playing "Sorry" by Ciara. "Dance, show me some emotion for once." I started to dance. With very strong emotions.
As I was dancing years began to fall from my eyes and I felt Jay hand wiping the tears away. I stopped dancing.
"Don't stop dancing. You said dancing is life. If someone new appears don't stop what you're doing, keep going." We started dancing and feeling our sweat touching each other. Our body touching each other. My hormones flying through the roof. I suddenly stopped dancing and he looked at me with confusion.
"Jay this isn't right." I said. He looked even more confused. "Or maybe my imagination is running with me. I'm rambling sorry, but I have to go." I grabbed my things and before I could walk pass him he pulled me in to him and we shared a loss, a real kiss. I've never felt a kiss this powerful before. My bags fell to the floor as I wrapped my arms around his neck and he pulled me in closer.
"It isn't right, but we're right for each other." He said. "See you tomorrow Kris." He left out of the room. He left me with nothing but a kiss.
Talk about first kiss with your crush. I was really smiling that night. I grabbed my things and headed out the door.
The Aftermath from "The Kiss" -- coming soon :)
