The cold air bites at my bear skin and the wind tangles my long brown hair into knots. I'm all alone, I was always alone. I feel like crumpling up on the wet cobblestone path to cry myself to sleep. The death of my younger sister had been sudden all so sudden. i watched as this mornings events flashed before my eyes making the tears well up one more time.
I was broken from my revelry by a comforting arm around my shoulder and a familiar voice in my ear. "Hay Tarzan... anyone there."
The use of an old nickname made me smile slightly.
He waved his other hand in front of my face, i tern and give him a sad smile. "Rowen..." I say his name with so much familiarity and love, he always has been there for me ever since i was little.Maby I'm not so alone after all.
