As soon as Reagon walks out the door she feels her phone vibrate. It was from her best guy friend Anthony, Marks cousin. He always asks her what she is doing, not that he's nosy just that he needs to keep a conversation going. As she reaches the stop sign she hears the sound of a basketball hitting the ground... It's Aiden she immediately thought, but he wasnt alone, he had a friend. As soon as she was in sight of the two boys ,the dropping of the basketball stopped, complete silence filled the air. Reagon heard the boys softly whisper to each other, she couldn't make out the words but she had a feeling they were talking about her.
The other boy said to Aiden "She is sexy". Reagon looked around, wondering if there was this beautiful girl behind her, but no one was there just her and the two boys. Then all of the sudden Aiden yells out "Hey Reagon, wanna play man hunt?", Reagon gave him a weird look, wondered how he knew her name "Uhh sure? Can my sister play?" she asked still with a confused look on her face. "Yeah that's fine, go get her.", he answers. As Reagon walks back home to get her sister she turns around and glances at them, she notices them watching her as she walks home. "Oh, he is so hot" she thought to herself as she turns the corner. As soon as she was out of sight she ran home, bursted through the door and yelled
"Maggie!! C'mon we are going for a walk now!".
"No I dont wanna go!",
"C'mon we are gonna play man hunt with Aiden..." she whispers quietly so her grandmother wouldn't hear her.
Maggie jumped out of her seat put on her shoes and they were out the door.
When they reached Aidens house, Reagon was speechless she didnt know what to say. Why was she freezing up like this? She already had the perfect boyfriend there is no need to be nervous. But then again she still liked Aiden even though she didn't even know him.
"Hey David over here!" Aiden called over another neighbor hood kid.
Reagon met David before. They were ok friends, I guess you can say.
"Hey David", Reagon said quietly.
Then out of the corner of her eye she sees another neighbor hood kid. Simon. Simon and Reagon go to school together so they also know each other.
"Do you know like everybody?" Aiden said with a quiet giggle.
"Not everybody just alot of people", Reagon was very shy and quiet but she hopes to change that soon.
"What's your name?" a voice asked Reagon. Reagon turned to face Aidens friend and was about to say her name until Aiden interupted.
"Its Reagon" Aiden answered quickly and gave Reagon a soft smile.
Reagon couldn't help but let out a light giggle she really did like Aiden. But everytime she tried to tell her self that, she would tell herself opposite.
" Wanna play some basketball? " Aiden asked anyone who was listening.
"Sure!" David yelled loudly.
"Reagan's on my team!" Aiden yelled out and glanced over at Reagon and smiled at her once again.
Reagon went beside Aiden looked up at him, looked away and smiled. When she was around him she couldn't help it. Reagon hoped that her make up still looked fine, she looked down at her feet to kinda get an image of what she looked like. Reagon always wondered what she looked like from someone else's eyes. She was obbsessed with her looks she always wanted to look pretty. She hated everything about herself. Her blonde hair, freckles, everything except her deep blue eyes. You could stare continuously into Reagons eyes and get lost at sea. But Aiden loved everything about Reagon, they way she walked, how she flipped her hair when she laughed, her smile lit up the room, not because she had braces but because it brought warmth to people's hearts.
All of the sudden Reagons heart stopped. She looked over at Aidens friend and said "Whats your name?". Reagons shyness just disappeared, like it never existed.
