"Jase, get up. Its time for breakfast!" My mom yelled up to me. I slowly got out of bed and went to the bathroom. My little brother was waiting outside the door.

"Hey Kaiser. Who's in there?"

"Raegan." He sighed and rolled his eyes. "Hurry up in there." He said while banging on the door.

"Be patient. I'm busy."

"Doing what?" I asked. What could a 14 year old girl be doing in the bathroom?

"I'm doing my hair. Kaiser, let Jasey in. I need her."

"Fine. I've only been waiting for almost an hour." He sighed and opened the door. I walked in to see Raegan struggling with her curling iron.

"Hey Rae, you need some help?"

"Yes please." she sighed with defeat before handing me the curler.

"Why do you want your hair curled? Are you trying to impress a boy?"

"What? No. That's insane." she giggled nervously.

"Alright. Who are you trying to impress?"

"This guy I know. He's really nice and funny and super cute."

"Oh okay." I smirked. She's only 14 and she's already focusing on guys. "As long as you do good in school, I'm sure mom and dad won't mind."

"Wrong, she's 14. I'm not letting her date until she's 22!" I heard Rian shout through the door. "Now hurry it up in there. Kaiser has to go."

"Yes dad." Raegan giggled. I finished curling her hair and Kaiser walked in.

"That would've been so much easier if I had known the door wasn't locked." he chuckled. Raegan and I walked downstairs. Rian smiled as he saw us.

"Well don't you two just look ready for the first day back to school?" he chuckled. I would say that he's my dad except for the fact that he isn't. He's Kaiser and Raegan's father but Patty Walters is mine. Rian and my mom have been together longer than I've been around, minus the few months they broke up because of my father. He's also been around more than my dad which is a good thing. I've heard stories about what my dad did and I don't think he was ever a very nice person.

"Is JD coming to pick us up?" Raegan asked me excitedly. Now I know who she's trying to impress.

"I'm not sure. He usually texts me in the morning to tell me."

"Good morning people." I heard Emmy shout as she walked through the front door. JD followed behind her and I noticed Raegan's face light up. Seconds later, Eren walked in.

"Hey guys. Grab a plate and help yourselves." my mom offered them. They all loaded their plates with food and sat with us at the table. JD was next to Raegan and she could barely move.

"You guys ready for school?" he asked.

"Yes. I can't wait to start high school. I have a lot of my classes with Eren." Kaiser said as he finished off his plate.

"Me too. I think Freshmen year will be semi bearable." Raegan smiled. Eren gave her a smile in return and I saw her blush a little.

"Alright. Let's get a move on. School starts in half an hour." JD smiled as he stood up. As I was standing up I got a text from my boyfriend Shawn.

"Shawn's coming to pick me up today. Sorry J."

"That's okay. Have fun." he smiled before following everyone out to his car. I waved as they drove away. About 10 minutes later, Shawn pulled up so I got in his car.
