Haven(On Hold :(

Chapter 4

Cala's POV

Fuck my knuckles were still throbbing in pain after punching Caedis. Was his skull made of steel or something. I groaned in pain, why does he always have to be so difficult, why does he care!

I ran the rest of the way to my Haven to try and work some of the pain out of my system. Of course with my luck I tripped on a tree root and fell into a pit.

"We got one!" A male voice shouted in triumph.

"You sure it's not a rabbit again?" Came a female.

"Yes,I'm sure I saw it!" The voices were nearing the mouth of this infernal pit. There faces squinted at the entrance.

"Oh my god! It is a human! Score!" He screamed,pumping his fist into the air whilst the female licked her lips.

"Well done Mika,a very nicely set trap," she drawled.

"Mistress ca-can I have this one?"

"What do rabbits not satisfy you thirst?" They continued chatting whilst I dug a tunnel.

"Hey! What are you doing!?!" Questioned the male.

"You know, getting comfy," I said weakly.

"She's trying to get out you idiot!" She spoke as if he were a baby. Which if I was correct then compared to her he was. They were vampires, brilliant today's just not my day.

"Mistress how do we get her out of the pit?"

"You should know you created the trap!"

"I've failed you Mistress," He whimpered miserably.

"Where did I go wrong,"she sighed in despair." Okay just go in there and get her,"

"Yes Mistress," he replied his eyes watering. He jumped into the pit. He stood up and looked at me.

"Well go get her you idiot!"

He walked towards me and somewhat awkwardly put me on his shoulder. I didn't struggle because that would be stupid, I'll wait until we're out of the pit.

Using his vampire strength he catapulted us out of there. The light momentarily blinded me

As he walked towards his 'Mistress' I decided to take my chance. I elongated my canines a little, sat up and bit the back of his throat. He screamed in agony,crumpling to the ground.

I phased as the female looked on in confusion before realising the situation, she couldn't drink my blood so she just grumbled about 'how long it's gonna take to heal that'

I ran in my wolf form, it felt relieving to let her out, she sighed in content which sorta came out as a low growl.

For a while I just ran through the woods. Before I came to a clearing.

I saw 'bout five wolves emerge from the other side of the clearing. I cowered back into the shadows but they had already seen me and were racing towards like bullets. Sitting there obediently,I knew I couldn't outrun them so I didn't even bother.

Just as they came closer I was knocked to the side. Arms wrapped around my stomach whilst I was still in wolf form.........

Again sorry I seem to be going through a writers block. But I will try to power through it and continue as best I can.

Also sorry about cliffhanger but I gotta keep you interested somehow.
