Mirror Mirror

CHAPTER 3:

We eventually got to the studio. The receptionist welcomed me and my mom in. She led us to a room with a sign saying Maddie Ziegler on the door. I kissed my mom goodbye and explored the dressing room. It was awesome! There was a snacks cupboard with chips and chocolate inside! There was a makeup table and OMG. I squealed out loud as I saw one of those clothes changy things where you stand behind it to get dressed! Awesome, I've always wanted one of those!
There was a knock at my door. "Maddie Ziegler?" A small voice asked nervously. "Yes come in" I replied, putting the chips back in the cupboard.
"Hi my name is Elina" she said "you must be the famous Madison Ziegler!"
It was that word again, famous. Wow I must have done more for myself than I thought! I mean it's not like I'm the next Justin Bieber or anything, but it's starting to look like it!
I realised I hadn't answered Elina. "Oh sorry, yes I am..." I trailed off. She called me Madison. "Maddie, um Ziegler. Here for 'one hundred things to do before high school!'"
"Awesome, right well I'm here for your makeup then we will take you down to wardrobe."
She spent a whole hour doing my makeup! She was the best makeup artist I've ever had for tv! We made our way down to wardrobe to get changed.

"Lights, camera ACTION!" All spotlights were on me. I waited for that familiar sound of the clapper board. Taking a deep breath, I started speaking my lines.

"You did great kid." Set crew were patting me on the back. "Go chill, your mom'll be here soon."
I was beaming. I don't want to sound big headed but I did great out there. The other actors were so nice aswell. I finally felt contented with myself.
"Maddie!" Mom was here. "How'd it go?"
"Great mom. It was really fun!"
"Glad you had a good time sweetie."
When we got in the car Kenzie was full of questions: "Was it fun? Did you see Casey? What did you do? Did you have your own dressing room?"
"Yes no stuff yes" I replied, laughing.
"Ooh ooh I got your lipstick Mad!" She handed it to me.
"Awesome! Thanks Kenz!" I love my sister.

I was exhausted by the time we got home so I went straight to bed. Ahh the life of being famous.
