chapter 10

¤Sophias POV¤

I woke up snuggled up with aleks. I looked at his face as he slept, quietly breathing. I smiled. I do like aleks, a lot, but I miss James. I know I shouldnt, I know im better off with aleks but I've been thinking about it a lot and, I really miss being known as James' girl friend. Maybe I'm thinkinf weirdly, im gonna give aleks a chance I might like it better with him.

My thoughts were interrupted by the ringing of my phone. I shot up and answered it as quickly as I could before it woke Aleks up.

"Hello?" I asked

"Sophia! Are you busy today?" Haillie asked into the phone.

"No, I dont think so, why?"

"Do you mind if I come over and possibly sleepover? Sorry I dont mean to be rude asking-"

"No no no its fine!" I interrupted "Yeah come over, just text me when your on your way okay?"

"Yeah, see ya soon!" She hung up and I smiled. It'd be nice hanging out with Haillie.

A few hours passed and I cleaned up my room and played games. It was about 11:00 am and I got a text from haillie saying she was on her way. I got up and went down stairs to wait for her because she doesn't live far away.

"Is Haillie coming over?" Aleks voice rang in my ears. I turned around and saw him groggily make his way down the stairs.

"Yeah she should be here any second" I said and moments later the door bell rang. I opened it and greeted haillie.

"Hi!" she said dragging her bag in.

"Hi! I missed you" I hugged her.

"You too" she hugged back. "Hey aleks!"

"Hiya!" he made his way to the kitchen. The rest of the house got up and began doing their own things. .

"Hey uh... hows the james situation going?" she said semi knowing what my answer would be.

"Well" I sighed 'Aleks and I are sort of a thing now-"

"WHAT?!" She screamed

"Shhhh" I pushed her into a different room "Yeah we are."

"WHY DIDNT I KNOW THIS YET?!"

"I dunno" I giggled.

"Awwww" She jumped up and down. I laughed at her.

The rest of the day flew by

we all sort of hung out and stuff. I eventually found out James was coming over and Haillie and I hid In my room because of the tension between me and james.

"Hey can I tell you somthing" I said looking up from my phone.

"Yeah anything! " she said pointing her attention toward me.

"I don't think im over james. I mean hes been a dick lately... but I miss him... I miss us." I sighed

"That's totally fine! I mean you'll be over it soon tho! Don't worry" she smiled.

"Yeah but the thing is I don't think I can get over him."

"Well... aren't you with aleks now?" she said

"Well yeah.." I sighed. "I don't know, I feel like I shouldnt have you know... went with aleks straight away."

" I understand sort of... but it might be just the fact that you miss him you know?" I nodded agreeing.

The night passed quickly and she went home the afternoon of the next day. I was sitting up in my room just looking at the mountains in the distance. I grabbed my camera and opened my window. I sat on the ledge on the roof and took a few pictures. It was beautiful.
