Mizu's Pov
"I have been brought back, my dear. Just as you wished." Her voice. Ugh, I hated it so much, the last time I heard it she was begging for us to let her live.

"Hey." Me and Ayato said at the same time, walking out onto the balcony where Richter, and Cordelia stood. Although, Cordelia was inside Yui's body. "What's going on?" Ayato asked, picking me up and sitting me on his hip, as we both glared daggers at the two older vampires in front of us.

"Why hello Ayato, and Mizu, my baby girl. It's been a long time." Cordelia smirked, I don't like seeing her use Yui's face, because yui looks terrible with a smirk.

"W-what is t-this?" Ayatos voice wavered with uncertainty, as he clenched his teeth tightly but kept his gaze steady, although his voice gave him away.

"What did you do?" I asked, glaring daggers at Richter, before turning my hard gaze to Cordelia.

"I have to say I'm a little upset. I had hoped you would say you were happy to see me. You too Mizu." Her silky voice sounded sickly. "I'm pleased to see you, I guess you probably wondering why I'm here, huh? Well, Richter would you mind explaining the situation to my son and daughter." She said, with a soft expression. "As for me, I'm going to rest for a bit, this body feels odd, I'm still not used to it. She shouldn't even be conscious anymore, and yet, I can feel her trying to kick me out. It's really rather annoying, but what to expect from a body that isn't fully mine. Yet." She laughed as she walked back in to the mansion. I watched her as she went, while Ayato kept his gaze on Richter.

"Explain yourself." I said, in a strict voice as I turned my piercing red gaze to my uncle. "What did you do to her?"

"The night you four killed her. I took her heart and placed it inside that girls body." He stated.

"How can that be when Kanato came out not long after and incinerated her?" Ayato asked, holding me tighter against him.

"He did it in that small gap, when Kanato was heading to the flower bed that Cordelia landed on." I said, glaring at the man, fiercely.

"Wait, so that means Cordelia's heart is inside pancake." Ayato confirmed.

"The girl is little by now, yui is still in there but her consciousness is deep at the moment. However Cordelia hasn't fully awakened yet. When the hour of awakening comes, the girl will be no more. And only Cordelia will remain." Richter sent us a smirk. I saw Ayatos eyes widen, as a small gasp left his lips.

"Yes, I'm sure you know, the awakening is close." Ayato let out a low growl, as he gripped my hips tightly as he turned around and left, walking back into the mansion.

"Let's go find her." Ayato said, I jumped out of his grip and he looked back down at me, and raised an eye brow. I motioned him down and he crouched down to my height. I held his face in my hands and gave him a small kiss on the nose. Before pulling away and looking at him.

"She's down at the docks, you know what to do..." I said, kissing his forehead, and then staring into his bright green eyes. He smiled gently at me -me also being on of the only people he does that to- before kissing my nose in return, and ruffling my hair.

"Thanks Mizu." He said as he stood, ruffling my hair once more before he made his way to where the bride was.

I walked to my room and looked out the window, and watched as Ayato stood behind her. Thankfully still being young I could still hear things more intensely.

"Are you going to try to kill me again? Ayato? Where's Mizu, I'm sure she would want to help you." She smirked at him.

"A while back I was a terrible swimmer." Ayato stated, ignoring Cordelia's earlier comment.
