Princess In Training:

Chapter One

*Alex's P.O.V.*

"Alexis, get down here!" my mom, Anne calls up the stairs. "How many times do I have to tell you? Call me Alex!" I joke, and walk down the stairs to hug my mom. "Morning to you too." my older brother mutters, rolling his eyes. I stuck my tongue out at him, then tackle him in a hug. I sniff him, then gasp. "Your scent is mixed with a woman's. Did you find your mate?" I gasp.

Emmett blushes, ducking his head. "Yeah-" he starts,. "Who is she? Can I meet her? Is she nice? Do you love her?" I cut him off, throwing question after question at him, bouncing on my feet excitedly. My brother chuckles, putting his hands on my shoulders to keep me from bouncing. "Yes, you can meet her. She's really nice, and I do love her." he says.

"What's her name?" I spring excitedly. "It's Izzy. "When do I get to meet her?" I ask, grinning. "Tonight, she's coming over for dinner." he says, smiling. "Well, I can't wait." I say, bouncing to my room. I take a short shower and got dressed in aqua skinny jeans, and a gray cashmere sweater, and black vans.

I smile into the mirror when I see my eyes. They change color to the color of clothing I wear. So, today, they're aqua, with a jet black rim around my eyes, with gray specks. My name is Alex Reagan, and I'm seventeen, going on eighteen in two months, daughter of The Alpha of The Shadow Moon Pack. My father is the Alpha, and my mother is the Luna.

Soon, my eldest brother will take over as Alpha, and his mate, Izzy, will be Luna. I have three older brothers, and one younger one. Emmett is twenty-four, Derek is twenty-two, Kyle is twenty-one, and Tate is fourteen. I have waist long pin-straight pure white hair, and it looks silver in the moonlight. My parents have no idea why my hair is white.

I feel like they're hiding something from me, something VERY important, but I can't pin it. I dry my white hair, and curl it, pinning the sides up, and putting a black beanie on. I glance back in the mirror, putting on a dab of clear gloss, and mascara and eyeliner, to make my random-colored eyes pop.

I walk downstairs, shovel three blueberry pancakes in my mouth. I brush my teeth, and redo my gloss, and walk out the door, the keys to my white Lamborghini Convertible, with butterfly doors that my parents got me, twirling on my finger. My brothers all have different cars. I get in, starting the car, smiling brightly. My parents got me a white one because of my hair.

Soon, I pull up to school, everyone watching me. Here, I wasn't popular, in fact, I was bullied because of my white hair. Though I'm the Alpha's daughter, they don't care. It's mostly the human's though that bully me, the teenagers in our pack know better than to bully me. I get out, and was immediately surrounded by my five friends, Axel, Terry, Jake, and Maxwell, but we call him Max.

Finally, my partner in crime, Vincent, comes up. He's my BEST FRIEND FOREVER! Yes, they're all guys, besides Terry. She's Jake's mate. Axel, Max, and Vincent don't have mates yet. We call Vincent, Vinny, or Vince. He's been my friend since he moved in next door when we were five. He's the Beta's son. Axel is the Gamma's son. The Gamma is the third in command.

"Alex!" they shout, grinning, squishing me into a hug. Vince has been distant lately, I have no idea what's wrong with him. Vince grins at me. "Hey Alex." he says. My small smile widens into a wide smile. "You're back!" I shriek, throwing my arms around him. He chuckles. "I never left, hun." he grins, "You're you again." I point out. "I've always been me." he says, confused.

"You've were so distant for a while. What was wrong?" I ask. Instantly, his smile falls. "Oh...that. It's nothing." he says quickly. I send him a pointed look. "Tell me." I say. "I think I met my mate." he says, "What?! Who?" I ask, "I can't say." he says, "Why? Why not?" I frown, pouting. He laughs. "Cause, I can't. I'm not sure if she's the one, but she might. Come on, let's just go to class." he says.

I sigh and nod, following him into the school, him dragging me by the hand. We walk into class. At the beginning of Senior year, he made sure we had the exact same schedule. We sit down in the back, Vincent pulling me into his lap, in his seat. I shriek, glaring at him, startled. He smirks, before hugging me. I roll my eyes, ruffling his dark brown hair.

I had to say, even though I've never thought about this before, Vincent is a gorgeous guy. He's a Werewolf. All Werewolve's have good looks. His features were sculpted perfectly, strong jaw, warm chocolate brown eyes, and a pair of light pink lips, and a medium sized nose, it wasn't too long, or too small, just perfect.

Vince was tall, about 6'2, broad shoulders, six pack, though I've never seen him completely naked, I don't think I want too. I don't know if I could see him more than a friend, I mean yeah, we love each other, but not like that. The teacher glares at us when she walks in. Though we're not together, the whole school thinks we are.

Our school didn't really care about public affection, because the teachers and school staff are all Werewolves, and some teenagers in this school have mates, and they can't stop them from being mates. Though the teacher doesn't like affection--even hugging, she doesn't stop us. I don't care what she thinks, or what anyone else thinks.

The other Werewolves can think we're mates, and the humans can think we're boyfriend; girlfriend, though we're not. I've never had my first kiss, I've never had sex, I've never taken drugs, or I've never drank alcohol. I've been to a few parties, if birthday parties count, and I don't think they do. My parents are really protective over me, and I have no idea why.

Then my biggest crush, Sam comes in. There's not just one pack that shares this school with the humans, it's two packs. Our pack, and The Half-Moon Pack, and Sam is the Alpha's son. Sam is sweet, and nice. I'm not positive, but I think he likes me. Key words: I think. I'm not sure, but I think he does. Sometimes I catch him staring at me, then he'll look away quickly. It's cute, I think anyway.

"Alex? Can I talk to you?" Sam asks nervously, coming up next to me. "Me?" I ask, "Yeah...there's no other Alex in this class..." he trailed. "Oh..yeah." I laugh, "I'll be back." I say to Vince, who was glaring harshly at Sam, as Sam directs me out of the room. "Are you and Vince together?" Sam asks. "Is that what you wanted to ask me?" I ask.

"No, I'm just wondering." he says, "No, we're not. Why do you care?" I ask, "Do you want to go out sometime? Like..catch a movie?" he offers, my mouth pops open, then I closed it. He chuckled. Damn. He thinks I'm a fish. "Sure, yeah, where?" I ask, "Just meet me at park outside the school, tonight." he says, I nodded. "Yeah, sure. What time?" I ask.

"At eight." he says, I nod. "I'll be there." I grin, walking back inside. Vince perks up when he sees me, and growls lowly when he sees Sam behind me. I glare at him, sitting in my seat next to him. "Shut up, he's a nice guy." I say, "No, he's not, Alex." Vince glares at him. Sam just waves and smiles. "See? He's nice." I say, punching his arm, he scowls, before turning to me.

"What did he ask you?" he asks. "Nothing." I say. Vince hates Sam, and if he finds out I'm going out with Sam, he'll kill me. "I was gonna go see a movie tonight, want to come with me?" he asks, "No, I can't tonight, family dinner." I say quickly, not thinking twice. "Oh, alright. Well, I'll ask someone else." he say, "Someone else?" I ask, turning to him.

"Yeah, a different girl." he says, without looking at me. "Were you asking me out?" I ask, "No, I wouldn't. I'd ask someone else out though." he says, without thinking. "Ouch." a guy snickers from a few desks away. I hurl my pen at him, hitting him upside the head. He curses, glaring at me, realizing who threw it, he bows, his head, submitting. I nod shortly at him, looking away.

Actually, what Vince said did sting. I mean, I'd never think we'd ever go out, but I never thought he thought of me as repulsing. Suddenly, Vince gasps, turning to me. "That came out wrong." he say, "No," I say coldly. "It's fine." I say, grabbing my bag and storming out, ignoring the teachers protests. I walk out the front doors, and get in my car.

Why did it hurt so much when Vince said that? It's not like I have any feelings for the guy...right? If I did, I would surely know. Shouldn't I? I don't like Vince, he's like my brother. I sigh, turning on the car and driving home quietly, no music blaring, just peaceful silence. I arrive home, getting out and walking inside quietly.

Do you like the new story? I really hope you do. :) I don't know why, but this story just popped into my head when my History teacher talked about England's Queen, and her son, Prince Willam and Kate Middleton, them getting married, and their newborn baby, Prince George, and all that stuff. It wa interesting, so I decided to write a story about Royals, but they're not real, of course. :) Hope you like it.
