Fernleaf's eyes flew open, panting, her pads wet. Coalfrost stood over her. "Are you alright?" He asked, worried. Fernleaf nodded, her heart pounding, eyes wide. "Yes." She whispered as she heaved herself to her paws, trembling. "You were tossing and turning all night." Coalfrost murmured. Fernleaf closed her eyes, remembering her dream. "Just a bad dream." She mewed before pushing her way out of the warriors' den. Dawn light was filtering the hollow. Sootfall was carrying a mouse towards Junipercloud, who was stretching outside the nursery while their kits, Firekit and Leafkit, tussled on the ground. Then, a moment later, Dewnose, Berrynose, Poppyfrost, Flamingheart, Leafheart, Cherryfall and Timberheart padded through the entrance. Fernleaf sighed. Every cat there had prey in their jaws, except her brother. He'd been very distracted lately, his head in the skies. Coalfrost touched her shoulder with the tip of his tail. "Will you tell me what you dreamed about?" He asked, his yellow eyes worried. Fernleaf shivered as she remembered the violent dream. She looked up at the pale indigo sky, where the last warriors of Starclan were disappearing."I dreamed of a battle..."
