You walked alone on the sidewalk going to the grocery store. Your mother asked you to go out and buy some things for dinner. Normally you wouldn't be going anywhere since it was pretty cold. You would have plans if your best friend wasn't on vacation with her family. There was nothing to do, nothing was on tv besides old holiday movies, that you've seen a billion times. You thought at least you'd have something to do if you went. It was winter break anyway, there was nothing to do besides homework.

It was really cold outside but you couldn't take the car because your mom needed it for work and your brother's car broke down the day before so you were stuck walking twenty blocks in the cold alone.

As you made it to the store you pulled out the grocery list your mom left for you. You went to the vegetable/fruit aisle. Your mom wanted celery, broccoli, carrots, apples, and grapes. Those items were the only things on the list. You began to wonder how any of this had to do with dinner. Then you realized that she went grocery shopping yesterday and she just wanted to get you out of the house. Upon realizing this, you became agitated.

As you were stomping away you bumped into a boy. You both fell on the ground. You looked at him. He has crystal blue eyes. He smiled the most charming smile at you. He gets up and offers you his hand. You were amazed at how beautiful he was that you just stared at him in awe. He seemed to notice that you were staring and laughed. You came back to reality and took his hand. Still flustered from his beauty and clumsiness you began to apologize.

"I'm so sorry!" You kinda shouted at him.

He started to laugh which made you look to the floor in embarrassment.

"Hahaha, it's okay! I didn't hurt you, did I?" He asked concerned, still smiling at you.

You look up from the ground and smile and say

"No, I'm alright. Thank you for helping me up."

Then you walked away quickly before anymore interaction could happen. You walked over to the cereal aisle. Your mom did forget one thing yesterday, it was your cereal. You looked for your favorite brand but to no avail it was all gone! The only other cereal that looked good enough was this one called Curiously Cinnamon, you picked it up and walked towards the cash register.

The guy you ran into earlier was in front of you. He had a very nice butt. You noticed that and started to blush. Why were you noticing that now? You focused on the cereal. You put your cereal on the conveyor belt. The cashier rung you up.

"That'll be $2.39."

You reached in your pockets for your money but you realized that you left your money at home and your mom didn't leave you any for the "groceries" she wanted you to get. You began to feel frustrated as if nothing was going your way when someone said

"Here, I'll pay for it."

You looked to your right and it was the guy from earlier. He smiled at you and you couldn't help but smile back. He gave the cashier the money and handed you the box. He left and you stood there for a minute thinking wow. Realizing you didn't say thank you, you went after him.

"Hey, wait!!!" You shouted trying to get him to stop or at least slow down.

He stopped walking, turned around and smiled.

"Yes?" He said in a delighted tone.

"Um, thanks for paying for my cereal! I really appreciate it." You said.

"It's okay, don't worry about it." He said.

" I would like to repay you but obviously I have no money...." You said kind of embarrassed.

"What's your name?" The stranger asked.

"It's (Y/n). Nice to meet you!" You said smiling at him.

"I'm Louis, do me a favor and let me walk you home!" Louis said as if it was impossible to reject him.

You really didn't know how to respond to that and he could tell.

"Don't worry, I'm not going to stalk you. I'll just memorize your street address and house number, and watch you while you sleep!" He said jokingly.

You began to laugh, knowing that this was a joke. You thought about it, you didn't have anything better to do anyway, so why not?

"Sure, it might be fun to have my own stalker." You joked.

You both walked off in the direction of your house.

As you two walked you made small talk, with a few jokes and giggles along the way. When you reached the steps of your house you both stood there not wanting to part.

"I had fun, (y/n). It was really nice meeting you!" He said smiling charmingly.

"I did too! I really enjoyed your company. Thanks for walking me home, and buying me the cereal..." You said smiling back.

"Hey, (y/n)" Louis said.

"Yeah?" You replied.

"I don't want to be too forward but is it cool if I call you, maybe?" He asked.

"Sure!" You say trying not to sound too eager.

You give him your number.

"Well, I guess I'll talk to you later, then!" He says.

"Later then!" You say.

And he kisses you on the cheek, turns around and walks down the street.

You turn to go into your house when your phone rings.

You answer it smiling.

"Louis..." You giggle into the receiver.

"It is later." He said smartly.

"Well, I guess it is." You say.

You walk into the house still talking to Louis.
