"I don't like him!
"He's one of your best friends!"
"He's apart of a gang at school!"
"Their troublemakers not killers."
"He's ugly and I don't want you going out with him!"
"Heyyy!!! I'm also right here,so if you don't mind easing up with the insults please, your breaking my heart bro!" Charlie protests with his hand on his heart.
"James!!! Come on we've been doing this for fifteen minutes now, can we go,I actually want to go out on a date today." I whine tugging on his shirt like a five year old.
"Yeah! We should really go or we'll miss out all the fun things I have planed." Charlie add and James turn to face him with a curious look.
"Things plan...what are your intentions tonight Charlie? Do you plan to take her to a party, spike her drink and get her drunk and then take advantage of her..Hmmm hmmm!!! Come on bro answer me... You sick mother-."
"James!!!!!"
Okay who is this guy and where did my player of a best friend gone....I hate overprotective James...
"Sorry! I got carried away. Okay make sure she's back by 11, have patients with her and what ever you do make sure and use protection,I don't want no babies running around here got it." James says and my cheeks flame up and Charlie nods.
After a few more questions from detective James, I manage to get us out. We're now in his car on our way to..well I don't know..all Charlie said was it's a surprise.
"Oh thank god! I though we'd never get out of there. Is James high or is he always like that with you?" Charlie cutely snots and his dimples appear.
"James only acts like that cause he's overprotective with me and since my mom left and dad's never really home so he's the closest to what I got to family." I state twirling the ends of my hair.
"I'm sorry I didn't know that, but don't worry I won't do anything to hurt you." He says smiling sweetly.
This guy is just so sweet...why can't all boys be like him.
"Its okay,I know you won't.. I've got pepper spray." I teased and we both laugh.
"Right! I'll keep that in mind."
*~*~*
"You know you totally suck at ringtoss right!" I giggle as Charlie tries but miserably fails to get a single ring into the bottles.
"Oh really, I didn't notice that, thanks for pointing it out." He says in a sarcastic tone while trying again.
"Sarcasm isn't a good look on you." I taunt and he laughs still not taking his eyes off the bottles in from of him.
"Well I'm 147 pounds of pale skin and fragile bone....sarcasm is my only defense." Charlie informs me and I couldn't help but burst out in laughter.
When Charlie and I had first enter the amusement park, the first thing that caught my eye was one of those big, fluffy, comfy teddy bears at the ringtoss booth and I just had to have it,so that's when Charlie decided to spend over $50 on ringtoss and still hasn't gotten even one ring in a bottle yet, which by the way looks halirious. I'd think for a guy on the basketball team would know about aim,but oh well.
