Everything I need and more.

I awoke to the sound of my alarm, it sounded like a dying donkey. I really need to put new batteries in that thing.

The clock read 7:30 am, the start of a brand new day and the start of a brand new school.

I rolled myself out of bed and slumped downstairs to the kitchen where the smell of pancakes filled my nose.

"Hi Mum." I said as I sat on a stool.

My mum always looks beautiful, like now, her long brown hair is just sitting perfectly and bouncing as she turns the pancakes. Where as mine is just sticking out in all directions like a birds nest.

" Hi love." she said as she gave me a kiss on my forehead, "I've made you pancakes for breakfast, are you ready for your first day of school?"

"Yeah, I guess." I said, as I gobbled down a pancake.

'2 pancakes and 5 minutes of heart burn later....'

I went upstairs to get ready for school. I got dressed in a flash, but my messy, brown hair was another story. I attempted to brush it out with a hair brush and de-tangler, which worked but left my hair frizzy, so I just tied it up in a messy bun. I added some hairspray and jewelry and went onto my makeup. I went for browns as I didn't want to stand out too much on my first day. I applied eyeshadow, foundation, lip gloss and mascara, which brought out my blue eyes.

The school uniform consisted of a school dress, shoes, socks and a navy jumper, which I didn't mind too much.

I went downstairs to get a ride to school, mum was already waiting with her keys in one hand and my bag in the other. She had a big grin on her face, I guess she badly wants me to fit in and make some friends at this school as the other 2 school I've been to I've been a bit of an out cast.

When I got to school I pulled my map out of my bag and attempted to find my locker...... of course.... I couldn't.

So I just randomly went up to this guy, tapped on his shoulder and said...

" Hi, I'm new here, my name's Ellie and umm.. I can't find where my locker is so it would be great if you could help me, please?" I said it so fast I swear it must have sounded like gibberish.

The guy turned around and that's when I realized, he wasn't just a guy, he was a jock. Maybe it was the wrong person to ask. He was now suddenly surrounded by 4 of his other jock friends.

"Awww! What's the matter little one, lost your way?" One said as he tapped my nose.

"Yeah maybe you should help her Johnny!" Another one said nudging 'Johnny'

I turned around and started walking to the nearest building. I soon heard hooting along with footsteps following me. As I got inside the hall of this building they were right behind me still hooting, so I kept walking.

Then someone grabbed my arm from behind, now they were going too far considering I was just asking them for help.
