You and Jacob both got accepted to TSU . Your dad had told you all about band and how he wanted you to play the saxophone, but you were a rebel and played the drums . Little did you know that you would find someone with common interest, and that someone was Jacob .
Y/N's POV
I can't believe I got accepted to TSU . Especially since it was both my mom and dad's Alma Mater . Jacob was just excited to go to an HBCU . Mostly because he for some reason believes he was born the wrong color. One time he got on one knee and apologized for all of the stuff 'his people ' did to black people. I made him get up and told him that it wasn't his fault , but I trampled him for apologizing anyways. As i walked onto the campus with my dad, I saw Jacob walking towards us . ' Hi Jake , what's up?', I said. ' Hey babe ! Hey Mr. Y/L/N ', he said . ' Hello Jacob , so I heard that you're going to be in the band along with my daughter ', your dad said . ' Yes sir , I will ', Jacob said . ' Hey , well good luck , son!', your dad said. Your dad left in his car after helping you unpack , which made you more than happy. You met your roommate Jessica , who was also a drummer , like you . Months passed and you and Jacob both made P1 . You couldn't have been happier . Finally , your first battle of the bands came. Your band director Dr. Sebastian gave you the ' One band , one sound speech and you guys got on the bus to get ready to battle A&T .
