( the picture above is how I imagine Tessa/what she looks like )
-"Tessa" my mom whispers as she shakes me awake, I peel my eyes open to see that it's still dark out and immediately cover my head with the blanket.
"We leave in half an hour, make sure you have everything" my mom says and switches the light on, making my brother groan, but I'm to tired to care.
I slowly slide out of bed and take the outfit I had sitting on the only table left in our house, along with my toothbrush and hair stuff.
I walk up the steps to the bathroom, I sigh as I realize I will most likely never see this house again after today.
Opening the bathroom door I cringe at my appearance, my hair is a knotted mess and I've forgotten to take my mascara from last night off so I look like I'm part racoon.
I begin to brush my hair out and French braid it, I quickly wash my face and brush my teeth, applying only a little but of mascara so I have time to get dressed. I pull out my grey joggers and white soccer t-shirt.
I quickly slide them on and head down to get some breakfast. I'm surprisingly hungry for five in the morning and I finish a bowl of fruit loops pretty fast.
I get up and check my carry on bag, everything is there, mom honks the horn and I realize her and Noah must already be in the car waiting for me.
I grab the doorknob and take one last look around my home, well not anymore.
And I'm not sure wether I'm happy or sad about leaving.
-
Luckily when I get to the car were five minutes ahead of schedule so mom doesn't get mad. I hop into the front seat and sit my bag on the floor.
The car is quite, normally Noah would be the life of the party but he's already fallen back asleep so I turn the radio on. A Justin beiber song begins playing and my mom cringes. I chuckle as she changes the channel, saying how much she despises him.
We finally pull out of the driveway and begin the drive to the airport. Luckily it's right next to our house, literally only a few addresses down.
When we get inside the airport it's hot and stuffy, there's hundreds or thousands of people and I start to get anxious, I take a deep breath as I go through the metal detector and they check my bag. I sigh when they hand me my bag back with no complaints and were free to go. Mom announces were in terminal E and need to get to terminal B where our flight takes off.
We rush through the airport and get there with only about a minute to spare. Mom rushes us through the plane doors and into our seats.
I immediately put my head phones in and drift of to sleep.
-
"Tessy wake up!" I hear Noah's voice.
He up in my face shaking me, and my stomach drops thinking something's wrong. "It's time to get off" he points to the line of people exiting the plane.
I quickly get up and grab my carry on items shoving them in my bag and muttering faint "excuse me's" as I squeeze past people to get to mom who's on the other side.
A nice man lets us cut in front if him and soon were off the plan.
Mom leads us out to the parking lot where our car is parked.
Apparently our new house is also very close to the airport because we're there in less than five minutes.
It's big and blue, with a three car garage and huge red doors.
My mouth hangs open and I turn to say something to Noah to see three unfimiliar faces.
I jump back and they look scare aswell.
"Sorry to scare you" the oldest one says "we just came to say hi" he point to the littlest girl "that's hayley she eight, this is annie she's eleven" he point to the one in the middle.
"And finally I'm Caleb and I'm fourteen" he smiled. "Hi, I'm Tessa and I'm fourteen too, and my brother over there" I say pointing to him "Noah, is eight too" I smile.
I find myself looking into the eyes of this boy named Caleb, and I didn't realize it when I first saw him but everything about him is adorable.
His smile, the rosy red color his checks are, his dimples, I shake my head as if the get rid of the thoughts and look around to see the boy, Caleb, and his sisters gone.--/--
