My Mythology

Hey guys! So this is my project for Humanities!! We had to create our own gods and mythologies, (this is being turned in on friday (there's more but it's useless for you all to read)) and here it is!

Kiera- The goddess of Earth, mother of Hermetha.  She is loving, protective, and vicious when she’s angry at someone.  She is kind and caring though.  Wise and older.

Zansu- The god of Heaven, father of Hermetha.  He is hard working, smart, has high expectations, has an impact on Viv, and he very honest.

Hermetha-  Mother of Aphes and Launes, goddess of the Wind/Spirit.  Sprin looks up to her, wise, protective, carefree, knows what’s going on, but knows it’s not her place to tell everything to everyone.

Launes-  Twin sister to Aphes, mellow/calm, knows the lines/rules, guides Mortic, smart.

Aphes-  Party boy, knows the lines/rules, smart, ,and committed.

Mortic-  Oldest of the trio, his father is Aphes.  He is down to Earth, rarely visits the Upperworld.  Hates connivers and liars, mellowed out.  Smart

Viv-  He is the second oldest of the trio, his father is Aphes.  He is everywhere!  He is a conniving genius who can trick many.  He tries to take over, but fails later on.  For the most part, everybody likes him, except Mortic because he doesn’t like to be involved in his ways.  Power hungry.

Sprin- The youngest of the trio, her father is Aphes.  She normally goes everywhere, but she is very protective and smart.  A little slow, but has an eye for detail.

Mythology Story:

Today, some religions have certain beliefs and practices they follow, but other places have myths they abide by. This particular place is called  Senesis, and the myth their people believed in three millenniums ago is called Senecians.  In the 21st Century, the elderly people still tell stories to the younger generations about their ancestry, but they do not live in Senesis.  The Senecians currently are scattered, but the majority of them live in Europe still.  Their city-state was wiped out two milleinniums ago, by a hurricane, thus the survivors repopulating elsewhere.

The old house wife tale goes like this:

    “The start of humanity grew out of Heaven and Earth, the parents of all.

    From nothingness, and through time, they were formed as the first two primordials.  These primordials, whom are named Kiera and Zansu, are the controllers of the domains Heaven and Earth.  They not only control them, but are the bases of those domains, allowing life to expand off of them.

    The spawns of life then came from Sister Hermetha, who produced Launes and Aphes, with Abra, the god of beasts.  Hermetha is nothingness, but her birth of the two constants help guide the triplets to greater good.  But, before motherhood arrived for this magnificent, dark haired, hazel eyed wonder, she reigned with her parents, for the short time the Family lived alone.

    Zansu thought that nothing would become of the trio, thus creating Abra and gods without parents.  Each god or goddess had a brother or sister, such as Abra’s brother is Pag.  Abra and Hermetha fell in love, creating Launes and Aphes, gods of the revolving guardians.

    The gods did not grow up, considering each had a job to perform immediately after birth to help create more spawns of life.  Birth is their placement, thus each god, beside Zansu and Kiera, were placed here, by parents or the Mother of Earth and Father of Heaven.  Each god or goddess remains the age they were born, such as Zansu and Kiera are both 40.  Hermetha, for example, will always remain 32, as with Abra at age 33.
