Chapter Five

After clearing the exam's Second Phase Alliyah and her friends fly through the starry sky toward the site for the Third Phase.

Alliyah's POV

"Allow me to introduce myself to the forty-three remaining applicants. I am Netero Chairman of this year's Hunter Exam Selection Committee." Netero-san

"I am his secretary Beans." Said the green-thingy that gave us our id tags.

"Originally I'd planned to make my appearance during the exam's final phase but as I'm already here... I'm loving this tension in the air! So I think I'll stick around for the rest of the trip." All applicants are rally tensed.

"We are scheduled to arrive at our destination tomorrow morning at 8am. You'll find dinner waiting in the dining hall. You are also welcome to get some rest. In other words you're free to do as you please until you are contacted." Bean-san said

"Okay Gon, Jane! Let's explore the airship!" Killer

"yeah!" Gon

"yeah! I'll co-"

"No you won't."

"Menchi-san!"

"I told you that I will teach you how to cook right?"

"Well yeah" I said to Menchi-san then I come with her.

Menchi-san taught me many things about cooking. Even though we only have short time she said it will be easy since I already know how to cook so basically she is just helping me to overcome my habit of cooking with poison. She just gave me advice, we're nearly finished.

"So Alliyah-chan, you will show me now what you know about cooking, but this time you won't do it with poison."

"Hai." I started cooking, I mean baking. I am baking a cake, to be more specific a Choco berry cake. That is mine and killua's favorite. I hope I can do this properly because if I can bake this without poison I will give it to my friends

*time skip because I don't know what else to write*

"Okay you pass." Yes! After some tries, well after so many tries. I did it! I did it!

"Arigatou Menchi-san." I said while bowing

"Just remember my advice and you will do well."

"Yeah, I will be going now, again, thank you very much." I said and I go out of the kitchen

"so now it's time to find where killer and others is." I whispered to myself.

Killua's POV:

That old man is getting on my nerves.

"Forget it... I give up. I lose!"

"Why? We still have time. And just now we came really close." He really got no idea.

"Jeez. You really have no clue do you? The old man has barely used his right hand and his left leg. But we're still powerless against him. We could chase him around for a year and never take the ball from him."

"Oh you figured it out? And here I thought I'd fooled you. "

"So that's what he was doing." Gon

"You really know how to piss me off old man. Let's go Gon!" I said really pissed

"Oh I'm gonna play a little longer."

"Huh? Didn't you hear what I said?! It's useless! You won't be able to take the ball from him!"

"Yeah! I don't care about the ball. We've only used up half of the time limit. I'm gonna make Netero-san use his right hand before the time runs out."

"I see... Yeah I got it. Good luck. I'm getting some sleep." I can't really understand him sometimes, he's so weird.

Damn it! Now I'm in a bad mood.

I'm just walking through the hallway when someone bumped me; well I'm not in the mood so I just shrugged it off.

Well I guess there's nothing for it.

"Hey! Wait up kid."

"You bump into us and then ignore us?"

I just ignored them; I acted as if I'm not hearing a thing.

"Bastard!"

When they got near me I stabbed them with my claws.

If I hadn't stopped then I'd have ended up killing that old man to get the ball.

I noticed a presence so I go there n a flash and I aimed my claw to that person

"What's your problem killer?" she said in a hushed tone.

"Jane!" I said surprised and I immediately removed my claws in her neck

"Is something wrong?" she said then touched my cheeks, I blushed in her gesture.

Well the truth is I really like Jane, yeah I finally said it. Aniki is always pushing me to confess to her but o know that we can't be together because of the prophesy.

"Nothing is wrong; I just got pissed off with that old man Netero."

"Hmm, what happened?" so I told her everything that happened after Menchi dragged her, we were talking while walking to the rooms where the others are. She also told me what Menchi has taught her.

"So you baked Choco berry cake?" I said excitedly, that is my favorite, well that is mostly because of Jane.

"Yeah, but they're for everyone. So have to wait till we meet up with everyone."

"What? But I want to eat it now." I said pouting. She chuckled, her chuckle sounds so beautiful, that made me smile.

Well I'm still lucky to have Jane in my side. In my 12 years of existence she is the only thing that I really wanted.

Third Person POV:

The airship and its 42 applicant's approach the site of the exam's Third Phase.
