Chapter 3:

"It's okay, to feel lonely"
"...sometimes"

Who is he? Why is he here? How did he survive? I'm surrounded by these questions which could change my life if I found the answers.

Something is weird with this guy, I can feel it. He's staring at albin. It makes me scared so I push Albin more harder to myself.

"I'm sure you have thousands of questions, Ms. Melissa"

He knows my name. He knows me.

"How d-", I get interrupted by this genthelman.

"No questions. Go take your stuff and follow me", can I trust him? What if he wants to kill us.

I take albins hand and we run back to our sweet home. I close the door behind and I take albins hand, to show him that I'm with him. But just that second I see questions in his eyes, that I may not be able answer.

"Who was he? Why did we run away?", I can not answer his questions. It's not my job, but he will know everything when the time is here. When the time comes.

Then I hear it, a loud knock. He has followed us here.

"What do you want?", I scream. You have to understand, Me and albin have been alone for soo long time. I make eye contact with albin and in his eyes I see fear, I'm sure he can see it in my eyes too.

"You have to follow me. I've been looking for you for days"

Someone has been looking for me and Albin. I dont understand, are there more survivors?

"You're not alone, there are survivors. Survivors who are in a safe place. You must understand, we want everyone to be safe"

Should I go? There are more of us, he's right I should follow him.

I go towards the door and I put my hand on the handle. Just before I open it, I think again have I decided the right choice, but it does not matter now because I have already opened the door and he's standing infront of me.

"We have to go now"

What could I have taken with me, I mean the most important thing I have is the Albin. I'm sure there are lots of stuff at the camp, where we are heading. I just hope we are welcomed there or else, I'll kill this guy.

Just when we sit down to take a break albin whispers: "Mom why is staring at me"

"Don't worry about him, he will not dare to touch you unless he wants to die", I say it as loud I can so that Mr. Guy can hear me. Actually I dont even know his name.

"Hey, Mr.Guy would you like to introduce yourself", I ask him friendly, I mean we should know his name.

"My name is kai and I'm one of the first survivers who was rescued by...", he stops. Why did he stop, is he getting emotional because I don't have a napkin.

"Rescued by who"

"MT", he said in a whisper. I don't know why but his way of speaking is a bit strange because it feels like there is a recording that plays and trys to fool us.

"Empty", I say with a fake smile that's supposed to play a good little girl."what does it stand for?"

"Not empty, I said MT. Which stands for MAD TARGET", I'm going to burst into laugh, Mad Target. I don't think he's feeling good, I'm lucky that I have albin, otherwise I would be in the same category as him. CRAZY!

My arms are smimming back and forth, as my legs carring my weight on a hard land. I take a step and my other leg trys to copie it. Soon I'm going to forget how to walk.

"How long is it to MP or MT. What ever", my mouth is dry as sand and I can't even believe how I created thoes words.

We come cross a corner, where he stops. But how would I know it, so I collide with his back and I hit my nose. He has a hard back and it feels like I broke my nose. It hurts a lot!

"Sorry", he says with a strange facial expression I have difficulty reading.

"No, it was my fault i shou-", and there he cuts me off.

"What I said was sorry. I did not ask about what happened", that was soo rude! I mean, for a second I thought he was nice after all, but no, I was wrong.

"Mr that was very RUDE", I think it was Albin who said that. I just hope that Mr.Guy didn't hear us but hey what a pleasant surprise, he actually did hear us.
Kai stopped and didn't move. It actually made me scared. I tried to open my bag without a sound. I pull down the zipper and digg my hand into the bag. But just the moment Kai turns around and stares straight into Albins eyes.

"Sorry little guy, I will not do it again. I promise", the last words are a whisper and somehow I feel the words has its own story behind it. A very sad story.

So today I don't think I will be able to sleep, it way a long day today. I just want Albin to be safe, safe with me.

The stars shines bright and they make me feel like if I am back at home, with Albin. But soon all the stars are gone and a dark sky draws me into the darkness. Which is difficult to get through.

I see a women, very beautifull and strong. She looks at me with her big eyes, like if she is very proud. She gets upp and comes towards me but then stops, her smile disappears and in her eyes I see something, something very scary: fear I see fear.

It's my mom!
