(Welcome To New York)
2.
"To all passanger, please return to your seats. We are preparing for landing."
Taylor woke up from her sleep. She blinked in confusion.
"Where am-" She looked around. "Oh."
After she remembered where she is, she fixed her position and looked out to the window. She could see the ground, and the tall buildings of New York city. She sighed heavily.
Her whole life is miles away behind her. And the new, loud, and unfamiliar one is just beneath her feet. How does she handle this? Abigail would've known. Taylor is usually a social butterfly, but it's because her whole life she rarely meet new people. And even though there's new people, they're from the same town as her and that just makes things a lot easier.
"Excuse me, miss?" Taylor gasped, a stewardess with brown hair is smiling at her. "Please fasten your seat belt, we're gonna land in a minute now."
Taylor nods, "Oh, yes. Sorry." The stewardess smiled again.
"First time going away?" She asked in a warm tone.
"Yeah," Taylor smiled bitterly. "A bit overwhelmed."
"Don't worry, you're going to be fine." Said the stewardess, "I was afraid too when I first went away to pursue my dream. I wanted to fly around the world, and I thought being a pilot is too hard, so I chose this."
"Oh, you're from Nashville?" Asked Taylor, less awkward now.
"Yep, my name's Brittany." She said, introducing herself.
"I'm Taylor," They shook hands. Brittany seems like a cool person.
"Now, if you want to survive in a big city, I got some advice for ya." Brittany fixes her skirt. "First, don't doubt on anything. Be confident, or at least look confident. Second, socialize, make new friends. And third, don't trust on someone or something too easy. New York's not like Nashville, gotta be tough."
Taylor giggles a little, "Well, thank you."
"You're welcome." Someone called her name, "And I gotta go back to work. Goodluck to you, young lady." She smiled and walked away.
After hearing the three advices she just got, she became more eager and excited. The plane shake a little.
"Ladies and gentlemen, please fasten your seatbelt. We're on landing position."
And before she knew it, the plane landed on the ground.
And she's not dead or dying, that's good.

Taylor walked out of the plane slowly and the sun shines to her eyes. The wind was blowing and she could feel the warmth of spring air. Dragging her suitcase, she walked away from the plane.
The whole place looked so pretty, and familiar. It feels like she's going home instead of arriving for the first time.
It's like the whole city screams "Welcome to New York, we've been waiting for you."
After she's done doing the airport business, she walked out and tried to find a cab. The feeling of being welcomed is really convincing, it made her more confident. A cab approached her immediately after she's looking.
She got in the cab, told the driver her new apartment address and the cab started to drive. The whole time, she sticks her head out of the window, like a clichè of people first time being in a big city. The cab driver looked at her from the rear-view. He examined her clothes and squinted.
