He was trying to catch the white, small ball, extending his stick in to the air when he felt his feet to have met an obstacle and the time passing slower and slower. Every act to last hours but then seconds simultaneously. It was a terrible feeling. An awful painful sensation of hitting the moist, muddy, grassy ground and the acute discomfort caused saw by the symptoms.

Mason is 16 

A loud, incoherent, really blurry notice was encompassing him. The pain was slipping away. Maybe it was not something it should disturb him from the determination to win. 

Yet the moment  he was ready to open his eyes and get back to the game, total blackness was preventing his eyesight to form the pictures, his mergers which were responsible for vision to received the message.

 His brain had probablyshuttle down as he felt the same for his arms and feet. A constant stiffness, numbness, like his neurotransmitters were having fun teasing his body and had turned the messages into a ball. He felt like his body was a field and a lacrosse game was on. 

Now, that was really a very legit reason to be stressed about! Everything around him was unreal.
