i.
I seek light in you;
Against these darkness
That is deep within me
I give you these tears ,
As I wonder in the night
Like a wind lost
In the stars, at the sky.
Alone, but with your guidance
Like a candle, my source of light.
ii.
As the sun rises and crack-dawn
Has fetched a dear nightingale in a tree,
I have come to meet
My teacher in early daylight
From which wisdom overflows,
Satisfies my thirst.
His Book unfolds a truthful meaning
Behind these chapters in every leaves
For a lesson is worth His life,
And life is worth a lesson.
III.
Your kindness is everlasting
That reaches until the ends of the world
When my rain is over, like a rainbow
True colors show.
There in my need is a friend without greed
Typhoons may follow,
Foolish floods, too
Storms may abash the sweetest surrender.
IV.
For only you, Dear God!
Has adorned me with a bounty gift
That for a long time I may serve you.
My strength in every danger,
My peace in every troubling doubt
Thy only truthful love can give
Is like a sea with no boundaries
Yes, like a night with everlasting tomorrow
Your precious heart doth never stop loving
Ah! - It is true, my Only Father.
