This was different. This is not my home.
My eyes opened to a dreary sight.
Bright yet dim, the sky above me was not the one shelved in my memory.
Memory.
I couldn't remember.
Why can't I remember?
"Good morrow."
I turned to see an absolutely gorgeous woman floating towards me.
Dark hair flowed down her back majestically, a beautiful tangle of white flowers and dark branches resembling a crown, crested her head.
Dark eyes tracked me and darker lips soothed me. "How are you, Bryn?"
Bryn?
"I'm confused," for some reason my voice didn't shake, it only held false confidence.
Her pale skin glowed as she reached a hand down.
I reached for her as I noticed I wasn't clothed.
I cried out and tried to cover myself only realizing the my hands were chained together.
"What's happening? Where am I?" The cuffs on my wrist began to burn and the air surrounding me sizzled to match my anger.
"Dear don't struggle, it only makes the experience worse." The soothing calm of her voice halted my struggle.
"Where am I." I demanded.
Her arms stretched, showing off the faded landscape.
"The underworld."
