Another Tragic Friend Love Story

Everything was fine.

Everyone is happy. And that all that matters. 

This is what Keira Foley has been trying to convince herself for so long. That her feelings did not matter as long as he was happy in the end.

She always knew she was like Eponine for Les Miserables in more ways than one, but she did not expect to want a different ending so badly. 

She had never really wanted to be in a relationship. After being hurt and rejected so many times before, she had decided that it was the end of that. It was better being alone than always hoping that there will be someone out there who would accept you completely as you are.

Before she had met him, Keira had always thought it was just another hopeless dream to add to the shelf. 

To say that she was surprised that she had actually made friends on her own was an understatement. She thought she would be doomed to be alone for eternity with her humble degree and future job. Then Hannah and Jeremiah came into her life.

They were one year older than her, but treated her like she was actually worth something. That she mattered. They taught her to have a balance in her life. That life was not always so serious, but it can also be enjoyable. 

It was as if they were the Three Amigos.

But......of course in a group where there are two girls and one guy, one of them was bound to date the guy.

Keira had a hunch that Jeremiah (or Jair as they called him) liked Hannah. She even knew that Hannah liked Jair since her petite friend told her so. 

Though the dark haired girl kind of liked the boy too, she pushed her minor feelings aside so that her friends could be happy with each other. 

She thought they would be make such a great couple. 

She really meant that. 

It was not like she wanted to be in relationship with him. 

The whole idea was ridiculous. 

He friendzoned her so bad that she knew that that was all she was going to be.

Jeremiah and Hannah deserved each other. 

They had so much in common.

They can balance each other out.

It was supposed to be a blossoming relationship in which that they would date for years to come, ignoring her in the process, and then get married within the next few years where Keira would be a bridesmaid. 

That is what she thought was going to happen. 

Then came the shocking news.

Keira found out from Jair that Hannah was not ready just yet to be in a serious relationship. So she had decided to stop dating the boy.

He was a bit upset about it, seeing how he felt like he was ready for a serious relationship, but he was fine in the end. 

Though they stayed the Three Amgios, Keira was still waiting for Hannah to start dating him again. 

Soon Keira and Jair started to spend more time together. 

They would hang out and run into each other more and more to the point where he was expecting her in their hang out spots. 

In the years to come he would become someone so dear and valuable to her.

Someone that could not bear to lose. 

At the moment, Keira would only some guy she was cool and nice. 

Let's us see what happens next.
