Aspencall's Decision--Chapter Two

     The dark-coated tabby point yawned, his sharp and white rows of teeth showing. Padding out of the nest, he purposely flicking his tail over his brother's nose cheekily. Padding out, he detected pawsteps coming after him. Aspenkit spun around, and to his surprise Mottlekit continued to come foward, accompanying him. He let out a purr of pleasure, as he continued to head towards the fresh-kill pile. Dragging out two mice, Aspenkit tossed one towards her, his eyes still lowered. Walking,-more like dragging his paws-away, he slid through the brambles of the camp wall. It was 'his place'. As he began to eat the savory mouse, yowling and caterwauling broke out. Bursting out of the camp wall, his downy kit fur bristling, he nodded to Hazelkit and hissed, "You tackle Foxkit, I'll take care of Sootkit."

     Bundling foward, Aspenkit bowled Sootkit over, planting small paws on her chest. Immediately getting flipped off, he let out a shriek, "Don't fight!" Sootkit padded menacingly foward, her head lowered and a strange glint in her eye.++++
