If I had to make a prediction of my future it would probably start with the letter d.
Dying is a prediction of my future.
That's maybe why I've never been one of those girls that are all by YOLO.
Now that I think about it, I maybe should've. But again, I never expected to be diagnosticated with a heart disease.
Maybe, just maybe, I wouldn't be so depressed about this. I do have a right to be depressed.
A soft knock awoke me from my deep thoughts.
"Rachel, we're having dinner..." Dad called out.
"In a minute!" I called back. I heard footsteps and I guessed he probably just left.
*
I took careful steps as I came down the stairs. I could hear Zayn and Liam smacking themselves and Niall was watching TV.
"Rachel!" Niall called out without taking his eyes off the TV, who knew how he found out I was here.
"Wassup."
"You gonna eat?"
"Yes, I'm starving." I smiled.
"You're not touching my food." someone muttered from behind me. Even though I couldn't see his face, I knew he was Harry.
"Your food?" I chuckled bitterly turning around.
"I made it," He glared. "And I decide you don't eat. Go buy pizza or something."
"She's eating with us." Niall said sternly. Harry growled.
"Thank you Niall." I smiled at him and he returned it.
*
I would've said the food was delicious only if Harry hadn't cooked it. It was really good, but Harry once in a while gave me a death glare only making the boys rolls their eyes. Dad had to go to a meeting and I was all alone with them.
"Wanna watch a movie?" Louis suggested. Everyone nodded except Harry, and I knew exactly why.
Me.
"I feel knackered. " He mumbled.
Or you just hate Rachel.
That's probably it.
"No, mate. You never miss movie nights." Zayn said.
"There's always a first time for everything." harry muttered.
"I know what's the problem," I stood up from the couch and walked up to the end of the stairs. "Me." I said as a I climbed them up,
*
"Rachel! C'mon, open." Niall knocked on the door. I decided to leave them have their own boy time, I wasn't going to get on the way of that.
"Go away Niall!" I screeched.
"Are you crying?" He asked softly. I didn't even know if I was or wasn't, I just felt water rise up to my eyes and then falling slowly to my cheek, which I guess is tears. I don't know why I'm crying. I'm not a sensible girl, it's extremely weird for me. Maybe it's just because I'm a few days until that time of the month.
"No.." I managed to choke out.
Suddenly, the door boasted open. I gasped and there stood Niall breathing heavily.
"Did you just...?" I stuttered.
"Brake the door? Yeah probably."He chuckled.
"Niall, I said to leave me alone, go watch a movie with the boys."
"I want to know if you're alright." He sat down in my bed next to me.
"I am, now go."
"Eh, I'm not a big Disney movie fan."
"What? Disney movies are the best!"
"I just think they're childish."
"Yeah, THEY'RE childish." I chuckled.
"So, you okay?" He raised and eyebrow.
I cracked a smile, "Yes, thank you for caring."
"No prob, Harry's being a big dick."
"Tell me about it. " I rolled my eyes.
"Well, why don't you come down for a bit, he went to a pub or something."
"I don't know..."
"Aw! C'mon!" He grabbed me by the wrist and pulled me downstairs, when I was about to get to the stairs, someone grabbed me by the waist and threw me over their shoulder making me scream. I was 100 percent sure it wasn't Niall....
