A War Among Legends (A Pokemon Story)

Chapter 3

Once inside of the house, I went upstairs to the room that Ophelia and I stayed in when we were kids. I remembered when we use to have fake battles with our pokemon plushes. Ah, those were good times. Then, I saw Glaceon run and hop on one of the beds.

I said, "Well you must be eager to go to sleep."

"Glace-Glaceon. Glaceon, Glace."

I replied, "What do you mean you're tired? You had one battle today."

Glaceon curled up in a ball on the bed. I shook my head in disbelief. Suddenly, I was picked up and thrown onto the bed next to Glaceon. After getting over the pain, I saw Ophelia and Gothorita standing in the doorway.

My sis said, "Good job Gothorita."

"Gothorita!"

I said, "Sis, I beat you once already. I can beat you again."

She replied, "Bring it."

I said, "Glaceon use Blizzard."

Glaceon shot Blizzard at Ophelia and Gothorita. However, they ducked and the attack went out of the door.

Then, Ophelia said, "Use Psybeam."

Gothorita shot Psybeam at us.

I said, "Light Screen."

Glaceon summoned a screen of light that deflected the Psybeam, which caused it to knock over the dresser.

From downstairs our mother yelled, "What was that!?!"

"Nothing!" We replied.

Then, Ophelia said, "Gothorita, use Psychic to get rid of that Blizzard and to pick up that dresser."

"Goth-Gothorita."

She did as she was told. Then, she and Ophelia got into the other bed.

"Goodnight big bro." Ophelia said as she pulled the covers over her head.

I replied, "G'night lil' sis."

Then, I turned to Glaceon and said, "Goodnight Glaceon."

"Glaceon."

I laid down on the bed and closed my eyes. The things that were to come in my dreams were not to be pleasant.

In my nightmare, I was in what looked to be Sootopolis City. People were panicking and running around. Then, I turned around to see Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre, but they weren't fighting like they normally do. Instead, they were destroying the city together. Also, Team Magma and Aqua were laughing together. This wasn't right. There's no way that they could be working together. Then, Groudon used Precipice Blades and Kyogre fired Origin Pulse. Both attacks headed straight for us, but before they hit their target, I woke up.

I was breathing heavily when I saw my sister walk into the room.

"Another nightmare?" She asked.

I rubbed the sweat off of my face and nodded. Then, Glaceon leaped into my lap and rubbed her head on my chest. I hugged her and sighed. Suddenly, I smelled a wonderful aroma.

I yelled, "Hey ma! What's cookin'!?"

"Pancakes, eggs, bacon, and sausage!" She replied.

I jumped out of my bed, put my pants on and ran downstairs into the kitchen. When my mom saw how fast I'd gotten to the kitchen, she chuckled. Then, she gave me a plate with the most delicious looking breakfast I have ever seen. I dug in and finished within ten minutes. By the time I'd finished, Ophelia and my father had just got into the kitchen.
