Walking into the pack house has been a problem for me for a while now. It's been this way since I started dating Ryan. You might be asking, who's Ryan? Ryan is the Alpha of Dark Moon, my pack. I always get dirty looks from pack members and I know exactly what there thinking, there's the pack slut again.

This thought always put a frown on my face, one is because I'm not a slut in any way cause I don't sleep around, and two is because Ryan doesn't want a mate or that's what he told me.

"Lucy! There you are." I hear someone from behind me say.

I turn around to face my brother, Sam. He instantly notices the frown on my face.

"Why you frowning, beautiful?" He asks.

"Nothing." I say, forcing a smile on my face.

He raises an eyebrow at me, "I'm fine, there's nothing."

"Okay, okay. Ryan's asking for you."

"Alright, I'll see you later." I say, turning around and heading upstairs to Ryan's office.

My dad and Sam really don't like me dating Ryan, they think he's going to hurt me. I never really listen to them when they rant about him.

I make my way to the door with the nameplate Alpha Ryan Fox on it. I knock.

"Come in."

I open the door and peek in. When he looks up and see's me, he waves me over with a smile.

"Hey baby." He says huskily.

"Hey, I heard you were asking for me." I tell him, while sitting in the chair opposite of him.

"I was, I'm taking you to the Alpha meeting tonight."

"Really?" I ask him.

"Yes, so go get ready. Make sure to be sexy so I can show you off, and I'll pick you up at 5:30." He smirks at me.

I look at the clock on my phone to see it's 3:30.

"Alright, I'll see you then." I say, getting up and walking around the table to give him a kiss. As I'm about to walk away, he slaps my ass.

I gasp and turn to look at him. All I see on his face is his cocky smirk.

I walk out of his office, and start walking back to my house.

I walk in the door, and see my dad sitting on the couch helping Sam with paperwork. Since Sam is Ryan's beta, dad and I hear everything about the pack.

You might be thinking, where's my mom well she passed away a couple years ago. It's been weird and a bit difficult without her for the last couple years, you can see it in all of us, the most in my dad. But we still make our way without her. It's different though, she would always teach me how to cook, 'be proper', and pick out all the right clothes to wear, but she's in a better place now looking over all of us.

"Hey princess." My dad says, getting off the couch to give me a hug.

"Hey dad." I say wrapping my arms around his torso.

"I heard Alpha Ryan is taking you to the Alpha meeting." He says warily.

"Yes he is. In fact, I have to go get ready." I tell him with a smile.

"Good thing your brother is his beta so he has to go with him."

I groan loudly,"Dad I'll be fine, I don't need to be babysat."
