Kate(short for Katrina)looked at her phone and saw her cousin Maddie (short for Madhuri) texted her, on a cold December night. She opened the text and it read: ' Yo I need to tell you something. I have a huge crush on this dude at school. His name is Jacob and he's the popular kid in school.'

Kate was amazed that Maddie finally had a crush on someone. Maddie was always focused on going to other counties and paid no attention to guys. She texted back wanting to know more about this Jacob dude: ' Finally u have a crush on someone. I was starting to think u were getting blind lol. Tell me more about Jacob. How old is he? Is he adorable, cute, hot, or sexy? How long have you been crushing on him?'

This was the first time Maddie told Kate about a guys. All these years, Kate told Maddie about her crushes. The celebrities she loved and the boybands she fangirled over including the Backstreet Boys, Jonas Brothers and One Direction. It was exciting to see a different perspective.

Maddie texted back: 'LOL he's 16 years old but he's gonna turn 17 on January 7th. He's beyond sexy, I could just eat him. Every girl in my school has a crush on him, even some of the senior girls. But I've been having a crush on him since the beginning of eleventh grade, so fourth months ago.'

'OH LAWDY' Kate thought ' this dudes birthdays is 2 days earlier than mine.' But Kate thought Maddie having a crush was pretty awesome and she wanted Maddie to keep on going so she could hook up Maddie and Jacob. She had a way with match making.

Kate: 'Wai!t hold up! You've had a crush on this guy since September? And I'm just hearing of this? -___- lol Does he play any sports? Which country is he from? Is he Desi? If yes, does he like Bollywood?

Maddie: ' In September, I just thought he was cute, but now I have a huge crush on him. To answer your many questions; yes he plays basketball, he's from Bangladesh ( like us), and yes he loves Bollywood.'

'Alright! He sounds pretty awesome' Kate thought. In New York there are many Bengalis but they can be hear to find in school. She liked meeting new people especially people who love Bollywood as much as she does. Kate looked at the time and it was 12:30 am ad she had school in he morning so she quickly texted Maddie back: 'He sounds like an amazing guy. I have to go now but I'm so happy you have a crush on someone. Especially someone who loves Bollywood! Goodnight : )

As of homework and projects there might be a while till the next chapter. Sorry :(
