They said I'd be ready, they lied. I laid there I couldn't breathe the crushing weight, the five point restraints, and my heart not beating, I was promised immortality and got a fate ten times ten times worse than death. As they skewered me poking and prodding, I was dead but I knew I'd be back I mean they're done it near a million times before but this time was different. This time I had to escape, I pulled out of the five point restraints and grabbed my ring. (My ring was the key to my powers it unlocked the horrid piece of machinery that was once my right arm.) I ran for what felt like an eternity and when I was sure they weren't looking for me anymore I collapsed.
