Partners In Crime
Anger and Hurt, Hurt and Anger. They always seem to be best friends. How is this possible? Anger makes you want to Hurt others, or being Angry from the hurt by someone else. It’s simple. They are Partners in CRIME. They (Anger and Hurt) fester inside of us building up in us until we snap, crackle, or pop. Some people give each other three strikes until they’re out. In a film they would be cut. It is all the same.
Together they are Bonnie and Clyde, one always following the other with evil, and macabre intent. If they got married their love child would be named Hate, but for that to happen there would have to be love. It’s a chain reaction, going on and on. And most of the time it creates Drama, which is by the way a whole different thing in its self. Anger and Hurt: a domino effect going from one to another. Hitting, punching, slapping, crying, yelling, saying things not meant to be said, spreading lies, whispering, he said, or she said. Both taking their time to stroll casually through each and every one of us. So don’t tell me that you’ve never cried, slapped, punched, yelling, or screamed. The list could go on and on. But I’m stopping right here, because I’m sick of Anger and Hurt, those Partners in Crime.
But there is another dynamic pair, not as disagreeable or devilish as the first two. These Partners in Crime go by the softer names of Love and Faith, Faith and Love. Yes, they too are best friends. But you are maybe looking at me thinking: ‘what does she know about love, she isn’t old enough,’ Nope not me I’ve never been ‘In Love’ though I have seen the love and faith that family and friends of mine generate. Faith and Love stir together like leaves and wind, constantly following into an unending river. One of the cheesiest couples in history of any couple, but together they can change the world. Working in harmony Love and Faith are like germinating yogurt or an epidemic. Touching each and every one of us, spreading around like the flu, watch out it will get you eventually, if it hasn’t already. They are like seeing the Whoos on Christmas Day and having your heart grow three sizes. Love and Faith will fill you with warmth like the heat of the open grates of a fireplace. Some people shut the door on themselves and return to the first mentioned Partners in Crime. Don’t let these doors close on you; keep your heart open to Love and Faith, the best of the Bonnies and Clydes, the perfect Partners in Crime.
