(*Dominic's P.O.V*)
"Dang it we lost them", my beta Linus (aka my brother and twin) said as I near the opening where the vampires were spotted. They attacked a pregnant women and a child but thankfully we got there in time before the vampire did to much damage. They're both in hospital being checked and recovering. "That's the fourth time this week."
"dominic whats going on", Linus asked looking at me. "Yeah whats going on", the rest of the warriors said mumbling, looking at me also. "You know war is brewing between us", I said. After the Vampire King kidnapped the Werewolf Queen, fights have been breaking out between us.
Some say that the Queen Beatrice was originally King Jacobi's (Vampire King), beloved and that King Ross (Werewolf King) made a deal with a witch to make her his mate. That naturally King Jacobi should take his beloved back. Others say that she was King Ross' mate and that the King Jacobi's was just jealous and lonely and thought that Queen Beatrice was pretty. So he decided to steal her away and try to find away to break the mate bond. Then force her to be his beloved.
Most say (well the sane people who think war is unnecessary) that two middle aged man are fighting over a women like if she was a freaking prize. That because of their own selfishness they're throwing their whole kingdom into war with one another. That's the one I agree with but most people don't say anything cause they don't want to be overheard and then anger King Ross. Can't King Jacobi leave the Werewolf Royal family alone. They have a family for crying out loud.
"We'll just have to tighten up security and hope for the best", I say. "What, how can we just...", Linus started to say before he was interrupted by my sister June .
"Alpha, we caught a vampire scent that leads to the south boarder. We're thinking they're from the Death Night Coven", June says looking at me. She knows that I don't really like to be called alpha by her or my family and close friends but she calls me that anyways. Either to sound professional, which I doubt it, or to annoy me. Yeah I think that's it
Death Night Coven is basically our neighbors. The only thing between us is free land or what most say Rogue Land. Its not owned by Rogues but werewolves and vampires that are not in Packs or Covens roam around there. Since they'll get punish if they step into someones territory without permission.
"That freaking coven is always up to something ever since the news of the missing Queen Beatrice" , Linus says throwing his hands in the air and sighing.
"Well we cant go over to their land for that would mean war", I say thinking out loud, "but rules are rules."
"We will have to tighten up security like I said before and if we spot a vampire, throw it into the dungeon and I shall deal with it", I say looking at them to make sure understand my orders.
Before the kidnapping, werewolf and vampires were actually friends with one another. They made up rules and laws regarding land of each pack and coven. One law said that if any vampire or werewolf step on your land without your permission that you have the right to put it in the dungeon and question it's motives. Then you chose to either let it go, punish it, or call its pack or coven and return it safely to them.
"Do I make myself clear", I said looking at them. "Yes alpha", they muttered in unison.
"Well if that's all, I'll be headed off to my room for a shower. I've had a long day", I say then turn around and start walking back to the pack house. I'm to exhausted to run.
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Dominic Levine, Alpha of the Silver Claw pack. I'm 19 years old, born on October 27th and standing at 6'1. I have black hair and crystal blue eyes, well what people tell me (mainly girls). To me it's just blue eyes but you know how girls are. I'm the oldest out of three.
My twin, Linus Levine looks exactly like me but has green eyes instead of blue. Lastly but certainly not least, our baby sister June Levine. She has brown hair and blue eyes and was born on May 9th. We were raised by our wonderful parents Joseph and Sophia Levine. Our dad has brown hair and blue eyes and our mother has black eyes and hazel eyes.
Once I make it to the pack house, I use my werewolf speed to get in the shower. I instantly relax once the warm water hits my back.
After my shower I change and throw my tired body on my bed. I have a king size bed with black and red pillows and blankets. I have some pictures on the wall of my friends and family on it. Also some trophies from doing sports in my high school years. I'm currently in college know, with my twin Linus.
As I was about to close my eyes there was a knock on my door. Ugh, cant they leave a poor man sleep. Even though i'm not technically poor. With a sigh I get up too answer the door.
When I open the door to see Linus and June. "Can it wait for tomorrow because I'm very tired and I want to go to sleep", I say rubbing my eyes trying to stay awake.
"No it cant", June says looking at me. "We caught one of the vampires that tried to attack the women and child", Linus said.
And just like that ladies and gentlemen all my sleepiness was gone.
