Lilian's POV
"Hey Adeline!" I said knocking on the door of my best friend's house. "You ready?"
"Uh, yea. Hold on, let me grab my bag." She said in her melodic voice and peeked out of the door. Then she disappeared behind it and came back a second later.
"Kay." She nodded.

Walking the cobblestone path to the center of town seemed endless since Adeline lived in the middle of the forest. The walk was about 45 minutes to town, and then another 20 to actually get to the center.
"It's weird when it's just the two of us." I said after a few silent minutes of walking.
"That's true." Adeline said.
"It's always The Amber League. All four of us. Me, you, Jesse, and Maia. It's never just Lilian and Adeline, or Jesse and Maia."
"Huh, you're right..."
I could tell she was really thinking hard about it by the expression on her face. It was her thinking face, which, isn't that common.
Soon, we were reached the edge of town. I could almost smell the sweet aroma of the flowers.
The thing was, I was especially excited because today was the once every year Flower Festival. Every year, ever since I could remember, I would just sit by a window in the guild hall and watch the celebration from afar. But this year was different. I was 17 now, and completely capable of making my own plans. Plus, I have become a Special Class(SC) Mage along with the rest of my team, The Amber League.
The Flower Festival is when Earth Magic users from all over the country come to celebrate this once a year tradition. At the festival, flowers are grown with magic right before your eyes and made into anything you could possibly think of.
"I'm gonna go get a flower crown Addie, you want one?" I said scavenging in my purse for Jewels.
"Couldn't you just make your own flowers instead of buying them?" Adeline said.
"Yeah but it's more fun to get the ones that other people make. There are all sorts of different styles people use. It's fun to see what everyone else can do." I smiled, amazed by the wonderful scent and bright colors.
"Yeah, yeah." Adeline sighed waving about her hand. "I'll just hang here by the food."
"Like you always do at every event we go to." I mumbled.
"I HEARD THAT!!" She shouted, annoyed.
I laughed.
"I'm gonna go walk around while you enjoy your ice cream." I said
"Alrighty, just be careful. I don't want you to grow a flower on your head like last time I let you go somewhere by yourself." Adeline said as I walked away.
"M'kay!" I waved back. My best friend was adorable, a sarcastic meanie one minute, a kind, beautiful, wild soul the next. Her sparkly pink eyes complimented her quite well.
For a while I walked around taking in the breathtaking scenery, and before I knew it, I was looking at all sorts of beautiful crowns. I picked out one made of white roses for me, and one made out of pink carnations for Adeline.
The sun was beginning to set when I went back to where Adeline was. Like I assumed, she was stuffing her face with ice cream.
