Dark Dreams

Chapter 2

I jerked up sweatin from the nightmare I just had.  I was breathin heavily scared to death with this dream.  ‘I never once had a nightmare that seemed this freakin real…never………I need to talk to my brother, Jack.  Maybe he can help’ I thought as I looked around my dark room and then turned on the lamp that was beside my bed.  I noticed that everythin was the same as I left it before I went to bed.  Room all nice and neat nothing was out of place.  I then heard a load crash from downstairs causin me to jump out of my bed and run to the door.

 I opened the door and went down the stairs to see Jack in the kitchen cursin like normal.  I saw there was a black spot where Jack was attemptin to cook.  “Jack we agreed that cookin would stay my chore list, not yours.” I said as I got near Jack but he lashed out at me causin me to fall onto my ass.  I stayed low because I could tell he was in one of his moods when he went to do whatever his boss wanted him to do.  I slowly backed away like a crab trin to keep too low for Jack to lash at me again.

 “I’m goin for a walk.” I said just as I bumped into the door, opened it, and ran out of it headin for the woods.  Just as I got to the clearing that I sometimes camp at I was breathin just as heavily as I was before.  “Jack needs to take some major chill pills.  Or at least his gay of a boss to cut him a break.” I said as I sat down on the cold hard ground.  I looked around the clearing wonderin what it is that Jack’s boss has him do that causin him to lose his temper like that.  I shook my head the nightmare comin back to me again. 

“Why the hell is this nightmare buggin me all of a sudden?  It isn’t real.” I said as I heard a scream not far from my little clearing.  I looked around wonderin what it could be as I stood up.  I went to the edge of the woods to investigate slightly just as I heard another scream.  I jumped a bit this time.  I ran towards the screamin then stopped hiddin behind a tree when I saw a firey lookin guy.

 I also saw a another person that looked to be all water.  ‘Are these Demons?  Like the ones Jack told me about when it came down to my family?’ I thought as I watched the two glaring at each other seemin to either want to battle or not.  I got out from behind the tree and got between the two.  “Why fight if you are part of the same race?” I asked lookin at the two which both were lookin at me like ‘Who the fuck are you?’.  I looked at them and gave them both a friendly smile. 

“My name is Hell.  What’s your names?” I asked because I’m a friendly kid even when Jack does turn into an ass towards me.  Both of them went to normal forms the water dude had black hair that was tinted with blue and red eyes, the fire one had black hair with red tint also had red eyes.  “I’m Vasker, a water demon.” The guy with the blue tinted hair said.  “I’m Slasher, fire demon.”  The other said.  “Nice to meet you both, but why were you both fightin?” I asked because I didn’t see why they would fight each other.

 Slasher and Vasker looked at me as if I was some kind of alien from another planet.  “Dude, have you ever heard of the Demon Fights?” Slasher asked while Vasker looked at me as if thinking a bit.  I looked at them slightly like not even sure what they where talkin bout.  “Who do you live with, Hell?” Vasker asked lookin right at me as if seemin to know me.  “My older brother, Jack, we don’t leave that far from here really.” I said and looked up at the still dark sky and shivered rememberin my dream.

 Vasker nodded then looked at Slasher.  “Dude, Jack doesn’t want his “little bro” to know bout this shit, for many reasons.” Vasker said but I didn’t notice he put air quotations round ‘little bro’.  Slasher looked at Vasker and smirked slightly.  “Then maybe we should introduce the little brat to it!”  “HELL NO!” Came a voice I knew all too damn well.

 I turned to see Jack comin towards us.  “Hell well not be fuckin introduced to that fuckin shit while he is under my care!  Fuckin dare and I will fuckin kill you!” Jack said his eyes a darker red than normal.  His voice seemed like he was serious which slightly scared me.  Vasker backed up putting his hands up as if in surrender.  “Dude I wasn’t goin to do that.” Vasker said seemin a bit scared of Jack.

 “Dude, he’ll learn bout it sometime.  Might have him learn bout it now!” Slasher said then after that he vanished and Jack wasn’t standin where he was before.  I saw a small pile of ash near Jack’s feet, where Slasher once stood.  I was shakin slightly when I saw the pile realizing that it WAS Slasher.  Everythin started to go black and I hit the ground.
